No thanks. We already had enough shitty action editing in Quantum.AgentChris said:I hope Christopher Nolan directs a Bond film.

legacyzero said:Just visualizing a Bond film by Spielberg in my minds eye makes me all kinds of warm and fuzzy inside. That would be awesome.
Although I just dont think Daniel Craig would work as Bond under Spielberg's direction.

Solo said:Rule #1 about the director of the next Bond film: its never anyone you'd expect/suggest/want.
Ninja Scooter said:so Jon Favreau then?
Scullibundo said:I really want Joe Wright next up.

Just because
They'd be delusional if they genuinely believed that could happen, even with talent like Mendes involved.Solo said:I have a sneaking suspicion that Broccoli/Wilson desperately want to produce a Bond movie that gets some Oscar love.
A non-UK James Bond?Blader5489 said:I don't care who directs, just so long as we get our five Craig movies and then Fassbender as his replacement.
We've had two already.reilo said:A non-UK James Bond?

I forgot Lazenby was Australian. Who's the other one? And don't say Connery cause that's part of the UK.BertramCooper said:We've had two already.
Solo said:Thankfully, we're saved from that disaster by his American heritage!
Aside from Martin Campbell, look at the recent Bond directors:
Brosnan.reilo said:I forgot Lazenby was Australian. Who's the other one? And don't say Connery cause that's part of the UK for me.
Oh, boo. You know what I meant.BertramCooper said:Brosnan.
Irish.
I'm pretty sure an Irishman would deck you if you implied that he were from the UK.reilo said:Oh, boo. You know what I meant.
Probably.BertramCooper said:I'm pretty sure an Irishman would deck you if you implied that he were from the UK.
MikeMyers said:Is there a rule that Americans can't direct Bond films (serious question)?
Solo said:An unwritten rule, yes. Every Bond director has been European.
Really?richisawesome said:Eh? Not true. Martin Campbell and Lee Tamahori were born and raised (as well as started their careers) in New Zealand! If NZ was part of Europe, I'd be fucking moving there.
I think you probably meant that every Bond director has been part of the British Commonwealth (Australia, UK, New Zealand, Canada).

Erm, he only puts in his best performance under Spielberg in Munich. He's also just shot Tintin under Spielberg.
legacyzero said:Apologies. I hadn't seen Munich.
Maybe it's just my hate for Craig as Bond. It just doesn't work for me. Perhaps its the direction?
Blader5489 said:Casino Royale was one of my favorite movies of the last decade and I really loved Quantum of Solace too.
I'm down for three more with Craig.
No. It's just you.legacyzero said:Maybe it's just my hate for Craig as Bond. It just doesn't work for me. Perhaps its the direction?
Scullibundo said:Well I think you have to be crazy to hate Craig as Bond in either of the past two films.
But either way you should probably check out Munich.
I don't see the point. Bond will just have his trusty iPod touch with him at all times.Tobor said:I see Moneypenny is back, how about Q? That's the last thing missing to return the franchise to glory.

Pravesh Sahni of India Take One Productions, which would look after any Indian leg of the Bond 23shoot, told The Times of India, "This could be one of the biggest Hollywood movies shot in our country."
"Trains are the backbone of the film. We'll pay for the shooting and also mention Indian Railways in the credit line."
"The shooting was supposed to happen in October-November. Now, we've postponed it to January-February. For the past three months, we've been trying to get things in order. The film has Daniel Craig doing stunts on a freight train."
"While the Indian Railways has given us permission to shoot, I need to meet someone and explain how important it is for us to block two tracks for eight hours a day over five to six days. For the past 15 days, I've been trying to get someone to hear me out."
"South African authorities are waiting to provide everything that is required to support this movie. If we can't get this cooperation from India, the film will no longer be shot here."

For months I had tried accesing MI6.co.uk, but it redirected me to CommanderBond.com, so I thought they relaunched or fusioned with another site. Now I see they just got a new URL. Anyone knows what the reason was behind this?
