That's not news, the GBC version was one of the first games shown back in September.Caramello said:A banned Nintendo site is saying that Link's Awakening will be available for download for the 3DS Virtual Console
plagiarize said:they said in the US talk that this only happened if you wanted it to. i think you can enable and disable certain features of the wifi seperately. sounded like that anyways.
Reggie said the features were optional... so dunno.Neon_Icarus said:Hmmm....I hope so. The impression that I got previously was that the auto-update was one of the features made to combat piracy. Being able to just turn it off seems like it would make it too convenient for pirates.
Either way, I'm not counting on region-free gaming on the 3DS anytime soon.

It's in the 3DS homepage fact sheet. I assume US, but who knows.Smiles and Cries said:US EU?
waiting until this
Crazypanda_85 said:I went ahead and preordered it from Amazon like everyone else. $250 is THAT bad :/ and since I sold my DSiXL a while back, I need a new DS anyway. The only launch titles I'm interested in so far are:
Kid Icarus
SSFIV
MGS:Snake Eater
And maybe one other title.
Not too crazy about most of the launch titles announced so far but it does seem like they have a nice variety to connect to a wide audience. Still hope to see Professor Layton 3DS (and the Layton X Phoenix Wright collab) soon. Like I mentioned, I still need a DS in general and glad to see that the 3DS is backwards compatible so I can play the DS titles I love and want to still buy.
Also, Nintendo... WHERE'S MY ENGLISH VERSION OF NI NO KUNI??? lol
Plinko said:Are there going to be ANY launch games for this thing?
Lucky most of us own DS's so trading it in at EB will ease the pain.Regulus Tera said:I cannot imagine Australia's price. Ouch.
Mrbob said:Not impressed with launch window software lineup. No Pilotwings or Kid Icarus to be found. Heck I'd take a remake at this point if Zelda or Starfox would be out at launch. Normally I would be interested in Resident Evil but not a Mercenaries stand alone game. When is Revelations coming out?
Wouldn't trust that. All 3 launch-window first-party titles are listed as Q2, and obviously at least one of them has to be day 1...Boney said:Pilot Wings is Q2

AR games and face blaster or whatever. we've been expecting those since the JP press conference. good to see them confirmed though.red shoe paul said:Ok so it DOES seem like a game will be available with the console at launch. AR games apparently.
it's like that car paint thats all sparkly and seems different at different angles as i understand.Smiles and Cries said:
Nintendo, I love you.The Nintendo 3DS Sound application lets you listen to your favorite music saved on an SD Card in MP3 or AAC format. You can even record and play with sounds via the Nintendo 3DS microphone with a variety of fun filters.
