Just noticed this on the What's New tab. Couldn't find a statement on both PS Blogs or on the British Red Cross site. Here's a transcript:

The British Red Cross, part of the International Red cross and Red Crescent Movement, has set up a fund to support the disaster relief efforts in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami in march 2011.

To make a donation, click on "Buy Now" and follow the checkout process.

You can donate either £2, £5, £10 or £20. Press the [CIRCLE] button if you wish to choose a different amount.

One hundred per cent of your donation will go to the British Red Cross, part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and in the event that they receive more donations to the Japan Tsunami Appeal than the Japanese Red Cross and International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement can reasonably and efficiently spend, any surplus funds will be used to help them prepare for and respond to humanitarian disasters.

As a thank you, everyone who makes a donation will be able to download the Sunrise Blossom theme for free.

Up to $50 too. EU Stores got pwned. I only had 6,10 € left on the wallet so I donated 5€. Not much but feels good doing so.

For people that are really cheap or poor, pro tip: Buy Resident Evil 3 for $2.99, donate $2 to Japan.

You have to add a minimum of $5 to your wallet anyway if you dont have the money, so why not.
