Jeb! out from Republican race *horn*

Too soon. Was probably pressured to give the establishment side more time to consolidate.
 
This honestly makes me worried. If I was forced to pick anyone from the GOP candidates (and I wouldn't), it was Jeb. He just seemed the least crazy of the bunch.

There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with a man's political views but why are you insulting his military service? Also, he served as a Naval Intelligence Officer in Afghanistan not Iraq.

Hopefully Kasich can coast a bit and then pick up some establishment support. He's the only halfway reasonable one left.

President Rubio isn't happening. Trump's getting the nom and, unless the Dems get their heads in the game and nominate Bernie, he's gonna win the general too...

I really thought Jed! would have used his coffers to draw this out until he was mathematically eliminated but I guess his campaign knew that it was just a massive waste of everyone's time. The people have left and the Establishment has left him.

He's failed.

Well, he's pretty anti-Planned Parenthood. Which supports women's health far beyond abortion. Aborition is barely even a factor of it.
And he's also against rights for same-sex couples including domestic partner benefits and even same-sex adoption. He's anything but reasonable. None of the Republicans are.

He eventually signed anti-discrimination protection for state employees only on sexuality but still allowed discrimination on gender identity.
 
I haven't followed the american election stuff at all but this guy seemed like the most sane republican, and from gifs alone came across as lovably awkward rather than a cocky, obnoxious blowhard. What went wrong for him? Just the Bush name alone when everyone has swung hard anti-establishment?

Jeb isn't engaging and has the personality as a glass of water. His strengths is that he actually knows what he's talking about, is a policy wonk, and has successfully governed a major state. However, the Republican party basically destroyed themselves after Obama was elected and at this point the base is riled up to distrust any Washington insider/establishment candidate. This simply wasn't the year to be a policy wonk for the Republican nomination.

Yes, while looking this up just now I found this video with 15 views (must be a mirror as it's a funny video) and Trump goes HARD at him. Hard for me to believe these are actual clips of real political debates. You guys are crazy over there.

Because I am cynical enough to believe he was gifted the position via nepotism purely to further any future political ambitions he might have had. And yes, it was Enduring Freedom. I misremembered between reading and posting.
