Jessica Simpson is now getting paid for being fat -- the singer just announced ... she's the newest spokesperson for Weight Watchers.

Jessica made the announcement moments ago on her Twitter, writing, "So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!'

Jess don't come cheap neither -- the Weight Watchers deal is reportedly worth $4 MILLION.

The singer reportedly gained 65-75 POUNDS during her recent pregnancy -- and Weight Watchers must be waiting for a big reveal ... because Jessica hasn't been photographed in public since she gave birth.

WW also released a statement, saying, "We’re thrilled that Jessica Simpson has chosen to join Weight Watchers to adopt a healthier lifestyle and inspire others to do the same."

Wow I know they usually exaggerate how fat a celebrity is getting but holy shit at that picture. I honestly hadn't seen her in years
 
my god, was she having eight children? she, like, didn't look near that big on the cover of Esquire. I doubt they could even airbrush away that much fat...
 
HOLY FUCK! I was never that attracted to her to begin with, but this is ungodly. She's like a beefed up beached whale that's been shoveling cakes in to her mouth and decided to wear a cheetah carcass to distract from her billowing fat rolls. She has fiery eyes that show a craving for tubs of lard.

Shes getting paid to lose weight like many other celebs. This is not news.

Are people really acting like this is something new.

See mariah carey, janet jackson ... the list goes on.
 
I'm very accepting of overweight people, much more than most people I know. But one thing I'm not accepting of is overweight celebrities that made their money on their looks (Jessica Simpson, Val Kilmer, etc).

I know it's shallow but there's so many people that had the same talents but never made it because they weren't pretty enough. To me I'm like "That's your whole job!" Sorta like a programmer that forgets how to declare a function.
 
That just looks like a terrible picture of when she was pregnant. She isn't 20 anymore, but I also imagine she won't look like that in 6 months.

She was pregnant. She shouldn't worry about her weight when having a kid.
 
You know what? I'm down for this. Maybe (young) women will see stuff like this and feel that it's okay/natural to gain weight -- especially when you're pregnant and all that.

It's no Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, but it's still worth it, in my mind.
 
The black interior of her coat is blending in with her black dress making her look bigger than she really is. She didn't gain that much weight in her face, so it should all be able to come off.
