Just finished the season. I liked it, although I think the show needs to step up the game and be more violent. If Marvel isn't going to do a Punisher run of it's own they should make him a recurring character of this show starting season 2.

If they take more bits from the Punisher MAX series, sure. Beranthal is alright, never seemed like anything special in TWD and his movie roles were so minor I couldn't really be bothered to get a feel for the guy. Wait and see, especially with the source material they'll be pulling from.

Hadn't noticed this before. With the possibility of Bullseye, Matt's going to be facing down the barrel of gun more than once probably in Season 2.

Final scenes in daredevil were so crap, it's like it became a completely different series in that last episode lol, just complete cheese as soon as he got that outfit (and it wasn't entirely the fault of the ugly design either, the tone just changed so much too)

In saying that I'm not sure what a 'Disney Punisher' would even look like given that the gun toting ultra violence that defined the character almost certainly won't be on display here.
