Journey (PS3) starting an online beta next week?

That truly sucks!

PS: I love that Sega Genesis Dynamic theme BTW, (one of the top three dynamic themes I've seen) I am currently sporting that too.

Just impressions, not really spoilers but ill mark them just incase.
The sand, wow. The way it flows in the wind and everything makes it look amazing. Also the co-op was great, out of nowhere I met up with another person and we communicated perfectly without saying a thing to eachother. We just knew what the do and how to help eachother. It was a great experience. It was over too soon and it left me craving so much more.

I didn't get mine through the XMB. I got mine by emailing journeybeta and telling them why I should be in the beta. They gave out a random number of betas that way. Did not many people know about that method?

I did this, wrote up a pretty long response to it lol. No email back tho. :(
 
The beta worked perfectly and the patch downloaded successfully the first time. The game froze though when I kept it paused for a few minutes. Ill try it again later to see if it was just a fluke.
 
Got it to work on my 4th try, try staying on the patch screen for a minute, then accept the download. Kind of a weird fix, but it worked for me.
 
I think I'm going to cry. I tried everything, email, bought Flower day one, PS plus member, late on Destructoid... Can anyone spare a code?! God dammit, soooo sad.

Also, thanks for the codes, now some of my friends will be able to play.
 
My friend tried around 6 codes, none has worked. Oh well.
At least the patch didn't reset my console, will play it later.

wow. This bug is quite old, can't believe they haven't fixed it yet. Happened in a firmware update and in a couple of patches.

OH CRAP CODES! And I can't redeem them online cause the website is still down and qriocity one blocks my ip

The codes originated from Twitter, they were posted all over the place lol. Email trick wouldn't have done anything

It automatically gets added to your Download List. Open the DL on your PS3 and queue up the download.
