That's because the crowd was so hot that it was always entertaining.

Right now I'm watching a match that transitioned from Sandman vs. D-Von, into a post match fight between them, into Bubba turning on Spike Dudley to join D-Von, then the Gangstas stormed the ring and had a garbage fight with the Dudleys, and it was all so much fun. ECW was the only time I enjoyed run ins and garbage matches.
