Well, I'm told that it shouldn't mean anything because it was booked months and months ago, but the arena in Maryland that is hosting the house show on July 24 is promoting John Cena defending the title.

Still can't get over how stupid the "you're fired" angle is. How does anyone believe he'll be fired when he's already booked to headline WM28 with Rock?

I keep telling you guys not to get too excited. Any hope I had of anything other than Cena winning went out the window with Mondays ratings.

after monday I expect a Punk Vince feud and Vince screws punk out of the title and fires him.

Maybe he gets the MITB winner to cash in. maybe Nexus turns on punk and joins Vince.

What ever does happen Cena still needs to be in the title match at Summerslam and I dont think the Cena Punk feud can really go anywhere interesting after MITB now that punk is basically a face again.
 
I wonder how Booker feels about Cole calling him out on his commentary all the time, I put on Smackdown and in the first 5 minutes of me watching Booker has already received a Cole slandering.

Edit: Have to laugh at how Cole makes the transition from calling some guy who gets paper bagged by Rhodes "a dweeb" straight into a comparison to that nerd Daniel Bryan!
 
For the sake of gaining interest and ratings, it really makes more sense for Punk to win.

Never thought an promo between Mark Henry and Big Show would hold my attention somewhat but it's happening, I'm not expecting their match to do the same though.

So any picks for the MITB ladder matches? with all the Punk hype these matches seem almost forgotten.

I always wondered why he was speaking in tongue that night. It seemed so strange, and I never got an explanation.

I mean, yeah they were basically just raiding ECW's talent, but still.

I don't know if WCW ever explained it on Nitro, but I remember seeing a video on WCW Saturday Night. They found this old Scottish lady, who just happened to be an expert in Gaelic and a huge wrestling fan. He said something like "The war isn't over yet." I wish I could find the video on YouTube.
 
Sheamus vs Sin Cara match was decent, Sheamus surprised me, he works very well the lucha style, at first I thought he was just another useless big guy, but he's pretty resourceful.
 
I'm having reservations ordering it from wwe.com because NXT and Superstars always stutter or freeze up on me, while all other streams mlb.tv and MDL work fine.

Sheamus is anything BUT "another useless big guy" and the fact that this thought even exists shows just how bad the WWE is at pushing these new guys. Sheamus is a very good worker who can adapt to pretty much anyone in there.

Speaking of Mistico, I watched a compilation of his while he was in Mexico doing his thing and holy shit, he was so much better when he has guys working with him that can keep up. WWE really limits his moveset from what I've seen.
