I'm beginning to get the impression that Owen has been around these raptors for years thus they have a sense of familiarity. Like any other animal, whatever they see as a guardian or protector, or nurturer even could be a factor here.

That's what I think as well. In fact I wonder if they're posturing aggressively not specifically towards Owen, but towards other people who are off-camera, and that's why he says "Eyes on me!"

This looks like a fun movie but not a quality entry.

Chris Pratt's eyes, mannerisms and delivery "that doesn't seem like a good idea" seem off for this role. From the footage shown so far, he makes it feel like a Funny or Die parody.

The CGI is fine, it's obviously far from finished. The kill-our-creation plot still seems lame.

That transfer is pretty poor to be honest, Universal gave no shits.

The 3D Blu-ray got a new transfer which looks superb in my opinion, but they never revisited the subpar 2D transfer on Blu-ray.

The feet of the Velociraptor on the table is what always gets me on that shot, it's dated for sure. Not that it doesn't look good, of course.

Between JP and JP3 geeze the tech they used in JP still amazes me today. JP3 came out in that "awkward CG era" when CG was beginning to be relied on in movies more heavily, to the point where so many shorts look really bad in a lot of movies. Some of those shots on the last page of the JP3 raptors in motion are a good example of that :/

The JP3 Spino is unlike the T-Rex not from Isla Nublar. I assume it will be a new one.

This is great! The best part was that I didn't even know what was special about it until the raptors popped wheelers. I guess the idea of raptors on motorcycles made sense to me already...

Don't know if it's been discussed yet but has anybody noticed on the park map there's an orange wall stretching from coast-to-coast cutting the entire northern section of the island off from the main park? Something is definitely up with that.
