I think you can, look at Star Wars 7. The problem is the principle behind Jurassic Park doesn't lend itself well to further sequels. Like how many times can you have the park going to shit?

I guess I worded that poorly; I meant specifically a sequel to JP. As you said, the scope of it doesn't lend itself as well to a franchise, where SW is an entire universe and can host a multitude of interesting stories.

I haven't watched any of the Jurassic Park sequels, so I don't know if I'll watch this one or not. I may wait for the Blu-Ray to hit Red Box and rent it cheap. Jurassic Park didn't need any sequels.
