Just got a PS4! What exclusives have I been missing?

BloodBorne

The Order 1886 (Fuck the haters. game is awesome)

Infamous Second Son(Worth playing if you played the rest of the series)

Killzone Shadow Fall (I found it a blasty blast)

Bloodborne, Infamous Second Son and possibly Driveclub if you like racing games. Of course The Last of Us Remastered is an option if you never played it before.

Best wishes.

Infamous, Bloodborne and TLOUR are must plays.

The Order is worth it for the graphics, but i'd rent it instead of buy if you can.

Bloodborne is the only one I'd recommend if you already have a PC setup.

Down the road there's Rime and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Not much else out there (or announced) that interests me personally.

Check out TLOU... I don't think it's a great as people make it out to be but it's definitely worth the play through and digital codes can be had for around 10$.

Also I really enjoyed infamous first light, it's the standalone DLC for infamous second son and to me it's the better and cheaper game.

Bloodborne is pretty awesome too.

The Order (if you can get it for cheap), inFamous Second Son, Bloodborne if you're into that type of challenge I guess – in terms of racing games then go for DRIVECLUB.

The exclusive i have loved so far are Bloodborne, Driveclub, Resogun, The Last of Us, OllieOllie 2,
P.T
.

came here to post this lol.

All the big games seem to be here already.

You know thinking about it, I don't know about any upcoming exclusives.
Sony better drop some bombs this upcoming e3.

They have some cool looking indies coming out this year, but I'm guessing they're going to rely on No Man's Sky and marketing deals come fall. At least we don't have to wait long to find out.

Bloodborne.... And... I guess The Last of Us if you never played it.

(Not a diss at ps4, I own one and love the system, but it is the third parties and multiplats that are really shining)
Nope. Driveclub is one of the best racing games I've played in years and it's exclusive.

But yeah, Bloodborne is the 2015 GOTY.

I'm glad to see The Order getting some love in this thread. I'm having a lot of fun playing it.

You can't go wrong with any of the titles already mentioned.

I would like to add the PS4 version of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Even if you've already played the game last gen, the upgrade in visuals was worth playing through it again. Well worth the $25 it currently sells for.

IMO the best exclusives are... BLOODBORNE!

-TLOU if you have not played it, is an absolute must.

- Resogun is fantastic and is one of the best games period on the system

- Helldivers is tons of fun, especially if you got friends to play with

- Driveclub seems really well liked. I did not get into it much, but many do.

- Infamous Second Son and First Light. Both good games worth a playthrough.

- The Order 1886. It gets a ton of flack, but I really enjoyed it. For what the game tries to do, I think it does it extremely well. Visuals and sound are almost second to none.

- Transistor. Loved it.

- LBP3. Have not played it, but if you liked the previous installments, you will probably like this as well.

I think Infamous: Second Son is a good game despite its obvious flaws.
Its gameplay is unbelievably good, the problem is that there is not much you can do with your powers, especially the last power xD, when you get it the game is over and there is nothing left to do and use it for. The OpenWorld is beautiful, but there isn't much to do in it.
The story is also not that great. But the gameplay is simply amazing and you will have fun with it.

Driveclub is a great comeback story. It was in a sorry ass state when it launched but has since then become one of the best arcade racers of recent years. If you are into racing games that are not pure simulations then Driveclub is for you. If you are unsure wait for the PS+ version
believe
Its also the best looking racing game out there.

Killzone Shadowfall is bad, probably the worst pacing and worst level design of any game this gen(except one area). Its comically bad at times.
But the Multiplayer is good and Guerilla Games are supporting it still with regular updates and events. But there are better first person shooters available, so unless you absolutely want one, don't get it.

Resogun is great. Nothing more to say here, its just a great arcade shooter. If you like that, get it.

Bloodborne is the best next gen game so far in my opinion. I haven't played any of the Souls Games before so its a bit tricky in the beginning but its worth it.

The Order 1886 is a boring game. It has an interesting setting and the gameplay is solid, but the game focusses on the wrong things and becomes an absolute bore-fest because of it. Beeing force to slowly walk down corridores just isn't fun. The story also isn't good and in addition to that its horribly paced. The core gameplay machanics are very good and weapons feel great, but encounter design is uninspired and bland. There also isn't much shooting in the game, especially in the first half.
The melee combat/the boss fights are dull.
The game is also pretty short and has no replay value unless you count gushing at the graphics in photo mode as replay value.
Unless you like to explore this beautiful game via photomode there is no reason to get it.

The Last Of Us Remaster is the best game of all time in my opinion. Get it if you haven't played it on Ps3. If you have played it on Ps3 you should still get it and play it again at 60FPS and then dive into the brillant multiplayer mode.

I haven't played LBP3 and Knack, so I can't give my opinion on these.

Bloodborne has been excellent and I really enjoyed inFamous having never played any in the series before, as others have also said Resogun is quality and Driveclub has really got into it's stride if you like racers.

Do not ignore Infamous Second Son/First Light. Lots of people refer to it as a mediocre game, but I was very surprised with it. It's really good and very pretty (even nowadays).

Bloodborne? But even that's struggling to get its hooks into me, it's good...but I'm not drawn to it yet (played 3-4 or so hours).

The Last Of Us is a must play if you missed it on PS3.

Even if you already played it TLOU:R it's is worth it for the 60 fps multiplayer alone. The Left Behind DLC and campaign at 1080/60 is just a sweet bonus. Bloodborne is IMO the best of Souls and must play for any fan of the series (and even for new players who are action RPG fans). Driveclub is top notch despite the reviews. Second Son and First Light are gud. Killzone MP is fun but campaign is meh. Resogun is gud. Order might be worth a shot if you can get it cheap, best graphics on console right now. That should keep you busy till the big multiplat titles of this year start dropping.

Two pages in and no mention of Toukiden Kiwami.

Allright, it's okay, the game released just five days after Bloodborne. The game is also available on Vita, but it's safe that also mean this is a PS4 exclusive. It's a solid hunting action game (read: Monster Hunter clone) by Omega Force. Not as fine tuned as Capcom's MH for sure since its first game only got released two years ago in Japan, but it could gives you a very good time if it click with you. Plus the soundtrack is excellent.

Driveclub is a great comeback story. It was in a sorry ass state when it launched but has since then become one of the best arcade racers of recent years. If you are into racing games that are not pure simulations then Driveclub is for you. If you are unsure wait for the PS+ version

One that's worth a pop is inFamous first light. It's pretty cheap roughly €19.99 you get a few hours of game play and its a great looking game and fun to boot.
Other than that Resogun, Bloodborne and TLOU remastered are all worth your time and cash.

Hey OP I bought my PS4 in March and I am a Xbone gamer too. So I got it just for exclusives just like you.
Will probably unplug the PS4 when Witcher 3 drops and turn it back on when UC4 comes out.
So far I have played (=my rating):

Bloodborne (9 get it)
MLB (8/ 9 if you like baseball)
Infamous SS (8 solid open world game)+ First light
TLOU (10!!!!! get it for sure)
Killzone SF (meh, not worth it)

You might want to get First Light first to see if the Infamous games is for you.
Great pickup tho, really nice console but I'm getting back to Xbox soon.

My PS4 arrived from an incredible deal I got from Dell. I am primarily a PC and Xbone gamer so I have missed out so far on this gens Playstation exclusives.

Did you play last gens PS exclusives? If so, it's pretty much Bloodborne you're missing out on.

If not you can add games that are also available on other PS systems like The Last of Us and Flower, but it is pretty slim pickings IMO in terms of exclusives.
