This. I'm guessing this could possibly be our African guy since New Zealand/Australia is not rumored to have a character. I'm currently going through common African tribal face painting to see if I can narrow down if this is a common style.

I just think it's a lame reveal. It's a character who's been in every single Street Fighter game and almost every single crossover game. Who cares? Seriously, who really cares? Oh, now he's got a run gimmick and the properties on his Tatsu are a little different, big fucking deal.
He should have been revealed last as a troll but he was revealed early because he's a headswap with Ryu.

I think that's fine since Ken Bogard said that we have 4 newcomers. We only know three names and locations so it's more likely that New Zealander is going to be our 4th newcomer.

And lol 'headswap'...I like how you've completely broken down his gameplay mechanics from 2 minutes of footage, he looks WAY different from Ryu already..not sure how you can call his differences gimmicky off the little we've seen.

That quote is from June, and was referring to the E3 build. Things may have changed since then.
He's definitely cancelling SRKs in the E3 build. (Which is still the one we have today.) However, they appear to be very punishable.

A Brazil stage was recently revealed, and Ono teased a Brazilian character reveal for Brazil Game Show.
A New Zealand stage was just revealed as well, and a mysterious new character was just teased in Kens trailer.
Sometimes the reveal trailers show things that aren't available in the current build, so who knows.

I guess their train of thought is:
- srk hits, you can cancel it and get more damage
- srk is blocked, you cancel it and get punished anyway, but you wasted part of your V-Trigger

You can definitely do them, but the only single-stock ability is the alpha counter.
