There is no such thing as a "new established voice". Once a character has an identity, that's permanent. Any attempt at changing that is idiocy. The voice IS the character.

Seriously, he's got reasons for doing it. He's loved Hayter's preformances in the past and he wouldn't do it without good reason. Kojima and Kojima's games are all about attention to detail. Plus Kojima does all sorts of weird stuff pre-release on his games.

Just let it play out, people. It's going to be fine.

We all kinda knew it already but good to see it confirmed. TBH I was annoyed at first but I think he will do a badass Snake. Remember his voice in Phone Booth, he has that deep tone down that could make him sound good

Hayter is still in the game as far as we know and will be at E3 too, so maybe we will have more than 1 snake and that's why they needed Kiefer to play Big Boss?

Afterall it's about time we saw the "les enfants terrible" project in the game timeline. And we have that whole "Two phantoms" thing so maybe 2 snakes?

The voice is just one aspect of the character. I suspect most people won't even notice the change when they're sneaking around in boxes, peeking around walls, and eating shit off the ground.
