Gamecube version easily.

Game was designed around Gamecube, so actually that controller is better suited to it, and on top of that it looks somewhat better and has significantly better loading.

Edit: I never tried HDLoader Killer7, so i don't know how that improves things

As someone who played and beaten the PS2 version, I can say it's not as bad as people say. Get the Game Cube version if you can, but don't stress over finding it.

I guess the fact it's really not graphic at all was the clincher. I love the game and hated that scene, just because it felt so tame.
