In what world is :
$39.99 = £34.99 = 39.99 ?
In the real world:
$39.99 = £25.52 = 29.99
£34.99 = $54.76 = 41.04
39.99 = £34.09 = $53.33
What I gather from this, is that the Australian version will be 100 AUD.
How about you keep the cosmetic/costume DLC and give me at least twice as many characters for the Ultra edition, and fast.
Only 6 characters at launch and $5 per character if you want to buy them separately?
AHAHAHAHA!!!!!
How much did Skullgirls cost with 8 characters at launch?
So are people just choosing to selectively ignore parts of the OP or what?
But only the DLC ones from a 30+ roster characters
Always the same apologists LOL
This is a rip off. No other way around it.
Even skullgirls launched with more characters and was slated for it.
It's weird that $40 gets you the Xbox One game with 6 characters and the original arcade game which comes with 11 characters.
Also this basicly kills any unlockable fighters. I don't know if unlockable fighters are still a thing, but back in the days of SC1 half the fun was just seeing what crazy fighter you'd unlock next.
Still at least they're not pulling a Ridge Racer and charging full price for it.
Euros don't have to pay for college or health insurance. In what world is :
$39.99 = £34.99 = €39.99 ?
In the real world:
$39.99 = £25.52 = €29.99
£34.99 = $54.76 = €41.04

40 for 6+2 characters? really?
- The first 8 characters (6 at launch, plus 2 characters before their official post-launch release) for $19.99 / £16.99 / 19.99.
40 for 6+2 characters? really?
Well I guess more characters depends on how well the game, and really this sales does.It seems that way.
The $20 is for the FIRST 8 characters. You do not have to buy the $40 if you don't want cosmetic stuff or the arcade game.
Obviously, there are going to be more than 8 characters later down the line as it says "first 8 characters". Maybe they want to release slowly to balance it slowly.
What was the last time a fighting game launched with 8 (6) characters? The original Street Fighter 2?
Not to rub it in by saying I called it at E3 but... I called it
Always the same apologists LOL
This is a rip off. No other way around it.
So, what about arenas (fighting areas)? How many does the game come with? Will more be added? And how much will those cost?
$20 for 8characters seems kind of okay but a little much considering skullgirls had 8 up front for $15. But if you are a person who is only going to learn maybe 2 characters the game night only cost you 5 buck which is potentially interesting as an idea for fighting games going forward but could also end up super sleazy.
in the same world that $499 = 499 (xbone) and $399 = 399 (ps4)In what world is :
$39.99 = £34.99 = 39.99 ?
Seems like they're going with one stage per character. Each stage being designed specifically to represent the character.
Might be making too much of an assumption but I'd be willing to bet the 2 DLC characters will have their own stages as well. Plus whatever DLC characters they add in the future.
5 bucks per pop, but with such a low starting roster . . . meh, that feels steep.
Maybe they want to release slowly to balance it slowly.
Another rushed job to pad their launch line-up.
I dunno dude skullgirls has some of the best 2D animation period but I agree that on the surface KI probably looks more impressive to most people. Skullgirls is also a super mechanically impressive fighter but again it and KI are going for 2 different types of fighting games. Not trying to be a defender here, but skullgirls had a lower budget and clearly looks considerably worse technically than what this game is doing. Also next gen and all that
