The four green bars under the KV meter are your ender level. Ender level is directly proportional to the amount of white life your opponent has. This tends to mean that a long combo full of heavy attacks will build the ender level to level four rather quickly, and a combo full of light attacks will likely not reach level three before the KV meter blows out. Shadow attacks will inflict a lot of white life without adding to the KV meter, which makes them a good choice for rapidly increasing the ender level.

Does anyone have problems doing quarter circle moves? It's the bane of my existence in all fighting games. Doesn't matter if I'm using a controller or fight stick.
 
Hey everyone, got a bit of an issue which is making me pull my hair out.

I can't log in to XBOX Live when I start up the game on my PC. I can log into the microsoft account on other apps just fine, I can log in to xbox.com on my browser but only the Xbox App is giving me problems.

This is so odd that only a particular app isn't letting me log in. Anybody got any advice?

EDIT: Nvm, a restart fixed it.

Heh... The game was really easy to pick up on, anyway. And now I know that I need to play around more with characters...

Anyone have tips on beating Dojo Basic Training 16? I'm stuck at that and a trial is taunting me unfinished.

that's not easiest way imo, have to learn how to really use 20+ characters, not worth my time

having ppl that mains those characters could be even easier but need to hit the right ppl
 
I like how they use different takes for all the voice clips on player two's side. Picking the same character on both sides has different clips for the announcer saying the characters name, the character swishing into the character select, and the character's intro. Too bad the player two side seems to get all the less-good takes.
 
Is there an ETA on XB1 stick compatibility for PC? Thinking about getting a brooks adapter and was curious. I can play the game with my ps4 stick fine right now but I would really like to just plug and play.

Would rather get an XB1 one because 360 is kind of worthless if I ever pick up an XB1.

there isn't, and btw, the MKX pad on Xbox One mode works, is what is used in my modded stick
 
Started downloading it on PC. Ive never downloaded anything from Win10 store.. is it normal for it not to display current speed or even a completion estimate?
 
Can anyone give me the specifics of the invuln on Rash's LK.Boot? It's not invuln on startup, it's not upper-body. Is it just invuln during the active frames?

I really hope the fix they implement to allow XB1 sticks to utilize all buttons is an OS wide fix. I want to be able to play SFV with my stick but not having having all the buttons makes that kinda hard.

It is much harder to get killer status now. before it was way too easy, so this make the ranks matter a little more. I am glad to know that I wasn't the only one getting discouraged though. Its way tougher this time around, and that is a good thing. Last year i qualified in Killers within the first day. Now im working my ass off to get there. Now at least when i know im going against killer status that they are really good. Before, it didnt necessarily mean that because it was so easily achieved.
 
Not really sure why people are freaking about having to fight against the better people. It'll even itself out in a bit, and its good to fight against people that are higher skill level. You're not going to get much out of fighting people that are much worse. Use this as a learning experience for later, or just lobby up with some friendos

The game is fun only when you're winning? Put it on very easy and play vs cpu. You'll have a lot of fun. You cannot expect to constantly win online if you dont get good. And by playing only people who are worst than you you wont get good.

Unless all you care about is the fancy rank title.
 
The game is fun when I am playing against someone of a similar level. I played roughly 20 matches against an acquintance last night. I lost 13 matches, over half of them and I had plenty of fun learning new characters and stuff (Aganos ftw). But playing against experienced players, people who I can barely touch? No, it is is not fun.

Not sure why my opinion bothered you that much.
 
You need people to body you or you will never get better. I know the feeling of thinking you cant do anything but it does help believe it or not.

While I agree it's the best way to get decent fast it's also soul-crushing for a good amount, if not the majority of people. Most just prefer having a fair balanced match and will try to improve their gameplan from there.
 
Is the HORI Real Arcade Pro.V Kai okay for PC, 360 and Xbox One? Anyone here use one or have any other suggestions?

I haven't used a fighting stick in since fucking forever, but I figured it might be worth giving it a shot.

No offense. You can have you're fun the way you want. By the way, I started playing with Aganos too. Figured that would help me learn him at I was getting wrecked by him on rank.
I hit online recently with him and people have trouble figuring out what to do against him. I am winning against lvl 50 characters with my lvl 5 Aganos.

The new HRAP 4 Kai now has X-Input for PC. Works like a charm on Windows 10.
 
XB1 and PC cross-buy, cross-save, and cross-play is a godly feature set.

It just feels nice to walk away from my PC, go to the living room to play games with a friend, and realize that I can pick the game up right where I left off, but now on my comfy couch. I liked the feature on PS4,PS3, PS Vita too, but this setup just makes a bit more sense for my gaming style. Looking forward to more games launching like this.
 
They playing on McDonakd's wifi or something? What's with the disconnects in the beatdown?

That Hisako Rash matchup was grouse too.
