Killer is Dead trailer #4

GOOD GOD I LOVE GRASSHOPPER.

Even the gameplay looks good this time. I guess there's a twist like slightly crappy controls or something. Who cares anyway.

This game looks hot. The hotness that can only come from the crazy mind of Grasshopper Manufacture in terms of style and humor. There's only a few games that made me jealous of not owning an Xbox 360 or PS3, and this is one of them. I hope Grasshopper has found its groove and will spend the time to polish the gameplay mechanics and combat system, cause it sounds like that was kind of a problem with its last couple of titles.

Combat looks absolutely amazing. Might end up being the first Grasshopper game where they really succeed in the gameplay department. That'll be something to behold.

I thought Shadows of the Damned did quite well in gameplay department, though I would also say it doesn't really count, with it being a RE4-like directed by Shinji Mikami.
Surprisingly, I think it was one of the reasons it turned me off too.

I'd probably recommend it but I always have trouble remembering it as a "grasshopper game".

I don't know man, NMH2 played pretty well.

Don't get me wrong, I think both of those games were really fun, but I wouldn't say either of their gameplay was great. Good? Hell yes, but I'm talking Platinum Games, Ninja Gaiden Black, or Devil May Cry 3 level stuff here. Imagine a Grasshopper game with gameplay as good as some of that stuff. I'd ante up just about anything for a game like that. I dunno if Killer is Dead will be that, but so far it looks like the closest they've gotten.

This trailer highlights the major problem I have with post NMH Grasshopper games....no Masafumi Takada.

His unique approach to music is the definitive sound of Suda's craziness.
