I also tried it with my shirt, and the writing on my shirt got all fucked up and was layed out like a rainbow shape, when it should have just been straight across the shirt.

The distance seems finicky depending on lighting, i had to make sure I wasn't in the picture, or else it'd screw up.

In the end, it captured the cup, and my hand holding the cup from the bottom.

The Fun Labs app itself is rather slow and unresponsive, so I really work to speed it up, making it easier and faster to download and try new apps.

But it's a great initiative...

I tried to scan my one-eyed cat into the googly eye thing and the results weren't positive. Although the cat hates being picked up so that was part of the problem. I merged it with a can of air cleaner.

I'll try my black cat later to see if Kinect is still racist.

Also the face scanning thing needs some serious work with on-screen indicators. It took a lot of work to get it to accept my face, although I suspect that my being bald threw it (it added hair). I was pleased that it kinda got my beard and Hawaiian shirt, though.

You have to go to the Kinect Hub. You can't launch it from the games list.
