I love Cotton's interactions with Bobby. There's this genuine feeling of admiration that's so strange coming from him, especially from a boy as different from him as Bobby.
COTTON: So, Bobby, what are you gonna do with your life?
BOBBY: I'm gonna be a prop comic! I'm workin' on this bit where I stick a green bean up my nose.
COTTON: Well, now, that sounds promisin'. Hank, Bobby and me have decided. He's gonna stick vegetables up his nose. He is not gonna take over the family gas station.
HANK: Dad, I don't work at a gas station, I sell propane and propane accessories.
COTTON: Don't sass me, boy! You ain't too big for me to give you a lickin'!
HANK: Heh heh aw, dad, you old skunk!
COTTON: (breaks plate) Come on, grease monkey! Let's tangle!
