Oh yeah, had forgotten about that. One of my friends at work asked about it since the only episode he had seen was the one where Bill starts working out and thought it was funny. I recommended the episode in my previous post, among other Bill episodes.

Peggy: "have a nice weekend Bil-"
Bill: "BOTH OF 'EM!"

POCKET SAND!

season 1 is cycling through again on [adult swim]

the first season is much different compared to the rest.

"I'm a little bit worried about being a slut" LMAO

A boy who has a unicorn ranch in his bedroom shouldn’t call other people weird. That’s right. We know all about Rancho Unicorno.

Recently watched the show in its entirety with the girlfriend.

Had seen episodes over the years but this was the first time I had seen them all.

Great show, early seasons were a little weak but it got better around season 3 / 4.

Thought the episode about buckleys trampoline was a really finely crafted piece of television, the segment with luanne and Buckley on the trampoline with life in a northern town playing was really beautiful ....

...... it made me really think about Brittany Murphy being passed and gone and just invoked a sadness in general.

Probably the best think Mike Judge ever had a hand in.

I rewatch random episodes of KotH and the Simpsons (Season 2-10) almost every night. Childhood nostalgia I guess.

Same here, right now I'm watching two episodes per day of KotH. I try to watch seasons 7-13 since there are still some episodes I have only seen once in those seasons. I just watched Rich Hank, Poor Hank and it was pretty good, Bobby's mental view of the rich life was great.

I think one of my favorite episodes from the later seasons is the clown college. "Classic Clowning."

Rewatched season 1 and going through season 2. It's so sad and funny how oblivious Dale is about his "son" lol. The lawn/fire ant episode was hysterical.

I love that episode intro where he's singing and dancing to Hey Mickey. Then the camera pans out side and Hank puts the hose to his head. :lol

They did same kind of joke with Hank's barber when he went crazy. He put his hair blower to his head and when Hank leaves the barber shop you see shampoo spattering into the window. I think it was from s4 and episode was Hank's Bad Hair Day.

Currently watching Four Wave Intersection. It's one of the better new episodes.

"They disrespected my half shirt"

there was like a last season episode where's it's revealed Khan is bipolar and he goes of his meds. It was weird. Also, "I spent two extra years in the killing fields to avoid going to Canada."

yea they build a super grill in it. that was a funny episode.

The Accidental Terrorist was even better then I remembered. Overall S12 is mixed bag, there are some good episodes here and there and even few gems like The Accidental Terrorist. Big step up from s11 that basically had one good episode (Bill, Bulk and the Body Buddies), well, I guess Peggy's Gone to Pots had it's moments too.

I swear Peggy mentioned it before that.
Don't recall that but it's more then likely. S13 is full of small call backs to earlier seasons. They are either in your face, like Buck meets his illegitimate son Ray Roy or small call backs like Bobby going to fun center and Cane Skretteberg's band is playing in the background.

edit. Also didn't remember Cane Skretteberg's band was voiced by members of Green Day.

I love Cotton's interactions with Bobby. There's this genuine feeling of admiration that's so strange coming from him, especially from a boy as different from him as Bobby.

COTTON: So, Bobby, what are you gonna do with your life?
BOBBY: I'm gonna be a prop comic! I'm workin' on this bit where I stick a green bean up my nose.
COTTON: Well, now, that sounds promisin'. Hank, Bobby and me have decided. He's gonna stick vegetables up his nose. He is not gonna take over the family gas station.
HANK: Dad, I don't work at a gas station, I sell propane and propane accessories.
COTTON: Don't sass me, boy! You ain't too big for me to give you a lickin'!
HANK: Heh heh aw, dad, you old skunk!
COTTON: (breaks plate) Come on, grease monkey! Let's tangle!

The Cotton-Bobby relationship rings really true for me, my grandfather was an unrepentant abusive asshole to my father but was a complete sweetheart to me.

Love the Japan episode.

Cotton: you're going to miss your war scootch aren't you boy?

One of the funniest scenes in the series to me is "Mitch the Amazing Diving Pig". The entire scene makes me laugh out loud each and every single time I see it. Just everything about it from "Mitch's Fishes", how the pig just stumbles off the diving board, "not one, not three, but TWO rings!", "Bobby no, that's pig water!", and on and on. It's just a hilarious sequence.

If you have Netflix check it out - season 5, episode 1, "The Perils of Polling".

My grandfather (bless his heart and hope for a speedy recovery from CVA) was a hardass to all his children but absolutely adores all his grand children. My mom said she never recalled him giving her or her siblings hugs and kisses. Every time he sees us, he gives us a hug and kiss.

I've wondered how people who didn't grow up in a rural area with a fair reacted to that. I was curious if people realized diving/racing pigs was even a real thing.

I won't lie, I loved it as a kid. Those pigs are talented.

Oh no I'm very much aware it's a real thing, I'm very familiar with it. Heck, I live not too far away from where the crazy Redneck Games take place (but no, that I've never been to, I'm just sayin').

But the scene on the show, how Mitch doesn't so much as set himself and actually leap but instead just casually just walks to the edge and stumbles off, it's funny as hell.

I love how Cotton explains why they're stopping, too. I forget the exact line, but I think it went something like,

Hank: Dad, why are we stopping?
Cotton: This isn't something you're familiar with. This is about love.

"What did you just say, Bill?"

That was the exchange that got me hooked on this show. Cracks me up every time

Football episode on Cartoon Network.

Hank Hill: Bobby, I didn't think I'd ever need to tell you this, but I would be a bad parent if I didn't. Soccer was invented by European ladies to keep them busy while their husbands did the cooking.

Bobby Hill: Why do you hate what you don't understand?

Hank Hill: I don't hate you Bobby!

Bobby Hill: I was talking about soccer.

Hank Hill: Oh yeah, I hate soccer.

One of my favorite lines from the entire show. Sums up Hank and his relationship with Bobby very nicely.
