Knack 2 FREE on New Zealand PSN

The download was terribly slow due to this glitch, but I immediately took my PS4 offline. Hopefully it'll be fine :)
 
Got the game, played with the boyfriend.

I think Knack was made into a movie in one universe and the game for that movie was made in this universe. Feels exactly like a game where they couldn't figure out what genre to put the main character in, so they settled on a beat em up.
 
I've just wake up, fully downloaded, still can launch the game.
Proceed to disconnect the console until I beat the game.
 
Just woke up for school, download finished well time to set my ps4 offline for a while.

Edit: done and game still launches.
 
New Zealand Sony branch must've hired some people from the European branch. It amazes me that huge fuck ups like this one occur once every few months.
 
Mine downloaded fully and is perfectly playable, I'm enjoying it so far, I'm gonna buy a copy when I get paid, this deserves a kickback

Didn't think I would make another fake account, thought I had all bases covered, but here we go. Just in time last night, downloading since this morning, let's see if I can still start the game this evening. XD
 
Anyone that has created an Australian or New Zealand account just for this: I'd appreciate it very much if you'd be so kind to share log in details so I can download the game too.

Wait, are we really asking to game share now?
I know that the price error was a mistake, so even though you should feel bad, there's nothing wrong with that technically, but game sharing is against the T&C's nowadays, right?

It's not like it's expensive; it launched at a budget price.

It's kind of amusing though. If this happened to a game that is basically universally liked or anticipated on here, say From Software's next game by Miyazaki, there'd be more people arguing against getting it for free than there would be people defending it, but because it's "meme GotY Knack 2 lol", it's fine.

That feels much more like stealing all of a sudden.
 
I hope this has a positive effect in that people who get to try it and find they actually like it go out and buy it, even if that makes up a fraction of the people who got it for free it's still better then nothing.
 
I played 3 hours of this and enjoyed it in the wait for D2 to unlock. If they take it away i won't buy but i would be interested in Knack 3 if it's as much of a step up from 2-3 as it was from 1-2.
 
It won't happen but they've just put up PSN sub prices all round - Sony turning round and saying 'fuck it, as an act of goodwill make Knack 2 free on PSN for everyone' wouldn't be the worst of things.

Eh, that's probably more scummy than just admitting it was a mistake. That's goodwill to everyone except the people who actually went out and bought the game at launch/who actually wanted the game in the first place.

All the fans pay £25 for it, the ones who don't want it get it for free.

I actually don't care if they revoke my licence. I played it for abit and it seems very dull. The trailers make it seem better than it is gameplay wise.

Showing up as $54.95 on Australian store and $39.99 on American store. Looks like I miss out.

Will be buying it anyway, Giantbomb quick look convinced me. Looks like a much more fun platformer/ brawler than the first game.
 
I added it to my download list but didn't install it as I have awful Australian internet and don't want to if it will just be revoked. So I am just going to wait and see for now.
