He's making a demonstration of the benefits of the Pro, because it's his game, but, does it clearly says that a Pro patch is coming? I genuinely liked Knack when I played it. Not perfect but it receives more criticism than it deserves IMO.

I'm glad it was bundled with my launch PS4 or I'd probably never have thought to try it.

This is like the Thor 2 of videogames for GAF. Its so incredibly and harmlessly mediocre. I think this is cool for those who enjoyed it, it's a decent game that could use the graphics boost.
