Kotaku article testing the range of the Wii U

toilet discussion aside I can see myself buying more internet distributed games and less retail because of this. My gf sometimes needs the living room because she is a private tutor.
 
I'll be curious to see if I'll be able to play it from bed. There are two walls between the bed and the TV -- bathroom comes first -- but it's a pretty small apartment, so hopefully that makes up for it.
 
Isn't that already the case with PS3/Vita combo.

Dunno how good the signal is with those, (or anything at all about 'em, honestly) but the Wii U is specifically designed for the task, so I'd wager it's gonna be better. Not to mention you only hafta buy one console, and more games for Wii U will support the feature than PS3 ones.
 
Shouldn't have any issue with my paper thin walls.

Judging by this thread, I shudder at the idea of buying a used gamepad.
