That happened to me once when I was sending gift card to one of my friend. They asked for fax, bank statement with address on it to verify that the person making transaction is the actual owner of the account. I don't live in US but Saudi Arabia. My CC was also issued by local bank. So I think you are fine If you give what they have asked. Mailing them the required document will be rejected. So you have to fax them.

I'm not sure if this will work in the UK, but the last time I needed to fax over statements I downloaded them from my bank website and used HelloFax to fax them.

I'm sure you could find some similar internet faxing service in the UK if HelloFax isn't available there.

So there don't appear to be any digital codes for battlefield or AC4. Have they just run out of codes or did they never sell them?

They haven't sold either yet. I've been keeping my eye out for BF4 on a daily basis but they're only selling Premium codes and not the game itself. If it hasn't materialised in a couple of days I'll just buy $60 worth of PSN vouchers and the game on the US PSN store.

Ok so I am from Britain and I used my Amazon UK id purchase stuff off the American Amazon PS store (absolute stupidity that !) yesterday and I used the address of the hotel I usually stay at whenever I go to LA. I managed to buy 3 PSN $50 cards and COD Ghosts, but the 5th order I made was put on hold for verification and now they are asking me to fax them my statement with my address on it. They've also put my account on hold and I don't know what I am supposed to do now considering this is my main amazon account that I use with my kindle and I've also bought Amazon Prime for it.

What are my options guys? Should I send them a mail ?

That's the reason why i made a new amazon.com account (i'm from germany), so if they close it, i don't lose my main account.

Yep. You will need to make the us account a primary one though.

Yes although you can set multiple accounts as primary. It's the console you are making primary though, not the actual account.

Before I go on a shopping spree, I wanna get Killzone, Knack and Assassin's Creed IV. Amazon digital has them for 11 bucks cheaper than retail. However, is Target still doing the buy two get one free sale for retail copies. I'd rather get retail, than digital. I'll be able to shop on the 2nd of december.

Bought it with my german credit card. Set up a new amazon.com account, with chicago adress. Then used the code with my US PSN account and are now playing it with my german main account. bought it for 56 $ ( 41 €). 33.90 $ is a steal. Don't forget that the PSN Version has pop in issues depending on your HDD. I don't really mind it.

Price for the GTA 5 version is already up again (51 $).

Since every PS3 modell comes with different HDD your question is not easy to answer.

I have a 320 GB HDD in my Slim and i have objekt pop ins from objects here and there. Mostly when you drive very fast. I don't really mind it. The only time where it was shitty was a gate that popped up right in front of me so i crashed into it with high speed

HDDs with 7200 rpm, Hybrid HDDs and SSDs seem to reduce the pop ins greatly.

Maybe, maybe not. Since you have to take some steps, i think the % of people using the loop-hole will be rather small. Almost the same as the people who use VPN/Proxy for Steam games or game key sites.

Only risk i read is that Amazon.com could ban your Amazon account so it's good to make a new one. I guess that's only for people using this excessively.

nice, i tried this and it seems to work just fine.
i set up an amazon.com account, gifted it 60$ from my amazon.de account and got AC IV (PS3+PS4 upgrade) for 40$ (it´s 67€ at amazon.de)
one thing though, despite paying with the gift card balance i still had to enter a CC number at checkout (order amounted to 0$ with gift card applied).

i can see myself going mostly digital if this keeps working and prices stay so much lower than in EU.

I *think*, but am not sure, that it was directly added to Amazon. I bought two 1yr PSN codes and the first was -$5 (so, 24.99) and the second was 29.99 -- so I think that was it. Anyone else know if that was what is was?
