That happened to me once when I was sending gift card to one of my friend. They asked for fax, bank statement with address on it to verify that the person making transaction is the actual owner of the account. I don't live in US but Saudi Arabia. My CC was also issued by local bank. So I think you are fine If you give what they have asked. Mailing them the required document will be rejected. So you have to fax them.
I'm not sure if this will work in the UK, but the last time I needed to fax over statements I downloaded them from my bank website and used HelloFax to fax them. Also where the fuck do I find a fax machine? FFS there are people who don't even have a printer, let alone one that can fax. The only printer I've got access to is the one in unviersity library.
Good shit. I hope more and more places start doing this. It's a shame I won't be able to take advantage of this in Australia.Maybe I'll make a US account with the extra memory card I have.
Did you get his sorted?Yea but the billing address I used was a US address, not my actual British address.
Would that still be okay?

So there don't appear to be any digital codes for battlefield or AC4. Have they just run out of codes or did they never sell them?
Ok so I am from Britain and I used my Amazon UK id purchase stuff off the American Amazon PS store (absolute stupidity that !) yesterday and I used the address of the hotel I usually stay at whenever I go to LA. I managed to buy 3 PSN $50 cards and COD Ghosts, but the 5th order I made was put on hold for verification and now they are asking me to fax them my statement with my address on it. They've also put my account on hold and I don't know what I am supposed to do now considering this is my main amazon account that I use with my kindle and I've also bought Amazon Prime for it.
What are my options guys? Should I send them a mail ?
Don't know if I am following this right but does this meanin the UK we could buy $60 of psn vouchers or a game code from amazon.com then log in to a US account on our ps4's use the code(s) to download whatever then log back in to our uk account and play the game ?
Yep. You will need to make the us account a primary one though.
Does the PS4 allow you to freely switch between setting different accounts as primary?
Yes although you can set multiple accounts as primary. It's the console you are making primary though, not the actual account.
I've never actually bought a digital code from amazon before, how exactly does it work?
I'm assuming that if I were to create a US account as suggested by others, and use my German credit card with a US address that once approved ill get my code sent via email? Which I would then redeem with a setup US account on my PS4?
So there's no benefit over using my us account on the psn store to purchase stuff?Yep. You will need to make the us account a primary one though.
Bought it with my german credit card. Set up a new amazon.com account, with chicago adress. Then used the code with my US PSN account and are now playing it with my german main account. bought it for 56 $ ( 41 ). 33.90 $ is a steal. Don't forget that the PSN Version has pop in issues depending on your HDD. I don't really mind it.
Awesome! Thanks! You mention "pop-in" issues depending on the HDD. Would this occur with the standard HDD that comes with the PS4?
Won't Sony ban this loop-hole rendering our US bought games unplayable on our UK account/PS4?
This may be slightly unrelated but has anyone gotten the $5 credit for buying the buy 2 get 1 PS4 games before launch? Does the $5 code get emailed or directly added to Amazon? And if so, where can I check whether it is there?
