Kuroko no Basket 3rd Season OT

Final play had me like

The greatest hype was achieved when they brought fucking CAN DO back!
 
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooo its up and I have to wait 5 hours before I can watch it :(



the wait is going to be terrible. Longest 5 hours of my life!
 
I honestly disappointed that they ruined the tradition of the last episode of the season having no intro.

Edit: nvm, just looked at the ending of the first season and saw that the intro was there. The second season was the outlier.
 
They kinda blew their load with the animation in the last episode, but the finale was still a good watch.

And yeah, bringing back Can Do was awesome.
 
Good ending with where people going their separate ways. Loved the GoM picture in Kuroko's locker. Best.

Screw the writer though, Mayuzumi ended up be being so worthless costing Rakuzan the game. How'd he just happen to let that through like that, his eyes even tracked him :( ugh
 
I want to read it but then I am hoping it gets released as an OVA/movie so I can revel in the godlike animation and plays!
 
What a great finale. After seeing Direct Drive Zone in the previous episode I was worried how they would handle this episode with such little content left. After the game they have 4-5 pages of wrap up with Seirin. About 50% of the episode was anime-only content for the other teams and I loved it!

Also got really excited when they played the first OP again. I was hoping they would.
 
This show I tell you got me into the whole sport anime craziness...seriously it was such an awesome ride, Aomine crying scene in the last episode made it for me, the finale was expected...I'm so sad to lose this.

Still Kise till I die!!!

This last episode was so perfect holy fuck They even
closed it on an ally oop, and playing the first opening.
Guys, I'm gonna miss it so much, it has been my favorite anime for a long time
 
Fucking Can Do it finishing the show, I love it. I'm glad an alley oop to Kagami finished the show, Kuroko had his buzzer beater last match, him giving the game winning assist is more to his character.

But damn, gonna miss this show. I'm pretty proud of myself for not caving and reading the manga, it's really rare for me to do that.

It's been a great ride.
 
Haha I didn't even notice Can Do on the final shot since I've listened to that song like a thousand times myself, it didn't even register, GOAT song though. Loved the finale, I always like getting some closure on my shows at the end, it seemed like they were setting up for another season by looking at future teammates for some teams but that's me grasping at straws, and we wouldn't want this show to become bad.

I'll have to find a new show to get addicted to, I'll be rewatching Kuroko soon though, I think it's going to get rewatched once a year.
 
Loved it. When they showed kuroko's face and then Can Do started, so much feels.

What can i say, it's been an amazing ride, i'm really gonna miss this show...


And guys, read the extra game-gaiden. It's really good!
 
At first I laughed at the idea of a sports anime but this has quickly become one of my favorite animes ever. I thought they show ended as good as it could have ended.
 
Beautiful end to that game....also nice to see the original Akashi back, it was like watching all the players go from team attitudes to elitists and back to team attitudes all over again. Nice to see all the players grow up and mature.

Really going to miss this show, here's to haikyuu to hurrying the fuck up now.

I really hope they do the extra game. The animation in this show would really shine there.

Rakuzan had the worst choke imaginable in basketball game, let 8-0 run at last 40 sec, lose by 5 point play off rebound

Goddamn they need to hurry up with that extra game manga, I need more Kuroko in my life.

I need Aomine vs Akashi, I HAVE TO KNOW.



Hit me in the feels during the credits with all the different pairs, for some reason Mayuzumi feels like one of the saddest characters in the show, brought a smile seeing him paired up with Akashi.
 
What a great fucking series and I'm sad it's over :( I shouldn't have written this show off as a Slam Dunk rip off initially, I don't even think I could rewatch SD at this point (though I still love it). It'll be tough finding a better sports anime to get into, I had a ton of fun watching.

Haikyu and Ace of Diamonds are the hot new sports anime out right now and both are good so far.


Speaking of sad characters, what about Kise? Dude spent the whole series losing in almost every major match.

Let's say Kise wasn't handicapped and he actually beats seirin... Then there's no way he could've taken on Rakuzan tbh. Without the direct drive zone
and seirin's plot armor
they would've remained invincible.
 
Can we talk about how badly Rakuzan choked though?

Cause dude....they fucking choked. Call it plot armor if you want, but them dudes crumbled. You hate to see this type of thing happen.

Alternatively, Kise is the only Generation of Miracle member that lost to a Zone-less Kagami (after Zone was introduced). I like the guy, too. I just thought it was tragic how he lost almost every match. They were pretty soul-crushing defeats as well.
 
Kise and Kasumatsu are the only players really worth a damn on the whole Kaijo squad, and even they ain't that hot compared to the other teams.

With all the bull shit that went on in the final match... this actually takes the cake.

Even if he let Hyuga make that 3 shot, Rakuzan would've won. He didn't just choke... he deliberately made a play that lost Rakuzan the game. He could've sat his ass down on the coart and still won the game for Rakuzan.


I think the author went too ham with the final moment because they should've made it a 3 point game instead of a 4 point game. This is Midorima full court shot bull shit tier IMO.
