Kuroko no Basket 3rd Season OT

I know that situation was unrealistic as hell but at least in Football/Soccer, it's very easy for players to hit each other when the umpire isn't watching. As both a player and as an umpire I can tell you that people can get away with sneak hits here and there. Umpires don't have a bird's eye view of the whole field like spectators do and normally are focused on just the players near the ball.

Also how BOSS was that guitar riff that played when Akashi started ballin' while in da zone? Shit got me SUPER HYPED UP!

I don't doubt that it happens in actual competitions, but they were doing everything just short of flat out punching Kiyoshi in the face. It was too much. lol

"They're staying in the refs' blind spot!"

Bruh, everyone in the damn arena can see them beating the fuck out of Kiyoshi. Kise was in nosebleed seats like "Yo, are the refs blind?" The coach had to have paid them.

shit WWE refs aint that incompetent

I like the slick animation that comes with it but I'm so damn sick of the zone.

Its only gonna get worse as well. Hope they don't overuse it in extra game.

Furuya should be the ace, Sawamura should be relief, and Kawakami should quit the team.

And yeah, they don't have any batters now... Haruichi should be good, though.

Furuya is fucking boring.

When he's the focus the show is bad and hard to watch. Sawamura is obnoxious by furuya is the worst character on the team.

Got caught up. Loved how they animated Akashi's zone. Dude was making fools bend the knee lmao. Kagami is gonna need super zone 2 to even stand a chance. Can't wait for that.

For Dahbomb: http://i.imgur.com/rgW01kx.png (it's from the new manga so it might be spoilers for some)

It's streetball players that might be higher level than the Generation of Miracles. One guy is faster than Aomine, jumps higher than Kagami and stronger than Murasakibara.

GoM players getting out played by American street BALL players? NOW DAT'S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!

IIRC, they do mention that that street ball team has players on a level higher than NBA players.

Also, if there already aren't plans for that Gaiden to be adapted into a wonderfully animated movie with an enormous budget someone fucked up.

The other members to that team are:

Takao (Shutoku)
Hyuga (Seirin)
Wakamatsu (Too)

Wow, no uncrowned kings.

Okay, not the Ace of Diamond thread, but holy shit, I hate Sawamura as a character.

Either he's a way too hyperactive dumbass, or he's a weak-willed loser. Hate!

Sawamura although sometimes annoying, is a great character, nothing like that shitface Furuya.

Wow, no uncrowned kings.
Let's be real here, those 3 are uncrowned king tier anyway.

Like on team Seiren for example... Hyuga is basically on the same tier as Kiyoshi at this point.

It's like the Generation of Miracles label only for those 5 when in fact Kagami is a GoM as well.

There are 4 tiers of players in KnB:

GoM tier:

Kagami + GoMs

Uncrowned Kings tier:

The Uncrowned kings plus Kise's captain, Seiren's captain, Miyazumi etc. (ie. important players on the stronger teams). Kagami's bro friend is also in this tier.

Mid tier players:

Most other players on a team.

C/D tier players:

Basically the benchwarmers and Kuroko/Miyazumi if their misdirection is sapped from them.

Kagami feels like his rate of growth has been so slow compared to the GoM. I know he's supposed to be on their level (almost as good Aomine/Murasakibara, definitely better than Kise and Midorima is about where the show seems to place him), but I never feel it. Probably because he's so one dimensional as a player.

Also feel like Izuki got snubbed. He's part of Seirin's starting five but he feels like he's lagged way behind. He should definitely be UK tier by now.

OMFG AKASHI GOT LEGIT SHOOK OUT OF THE FUCKING ZONE!!!

But are we about to see the TRUE FINAL FORM OF AKASHI???

AWW SHIIET!!!!!!

But how tight was that alley oop at the end though...

Choppy gif though...

Can't wait to see final TRUE form Akashi. Shit will be off da CHARTS!!!!

I really enjoyed Akashi's breakdown and everyone shit talking him (including himself). Especially Miyazumi's "who the hell are you?"

Jesus, Final form Akashi, using his incredible zone powers + using his teammate's potential to it's fullest? Shiiiiiiiiieeeeet, it's gonna be good. No way zone 2 is going to be the only way seirin wins, especially with this show's motif of teamwork wins games.

How many episodes are left, 2?

Amazing episode! I was waiting for them to delve into Akashi's motivations and not just have him be a dick just because. That alley oop..

Great episode, so hype. Dat alley oop cot damn.

Two more episodes brehs, then it's all over. Can't believe it really. The more I think about it, the more I'm certain that Kuroko is the anime that marked this decade. Sure, there was a huge hype for Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Kill la Kill, but in the end those shows were either a mixed bag or downright bad. Kuroko on the other hand managed to create a MOVEMENT, was insanely popular and still retained a high level of quality throughout its run. I really can't remember the last show that created such an iconic cast of characters. it brings me back to when I started watching Naruto, Bleach (before they turned into shit) or Fullmetal Alchemist, something I didn't think an anime could make me feel, ever again, especially since I'm a lot older now. But Kuroko did it, it has such an amazing, memorable cast of characters, I can't help but feel sad about it being over soon.
Still, it' better than going on forever and turning into garbage.

After kuroko you should try HunterxHunter 2011 seems to fit your taste and is amazing.

Already watched it and loved it, I try to keep up with most interesting ongoing shows. But HxH as a franchise has been around for a while, Kuroko showed up and made me a huge fan, which caught me off-guard.

Get in on Ace of Diamonds and Haikyu to fill that KnB void!

I wish we had Ace of Diamond thread, the new rival that showed up at newest eps is pretty boss.
We actually do have an Ace of Diamonds thread but no one posts in it. I think people used it up until the first season and then forgot about it when the 2nd season started.

You guys think Inashiro is gonna get that work though?

Gonna bump that thread next monday then lol

Nah.. they setting up shit for summer tourney if I'm guessing

btw I'm proud mah boy Eijun already overcame his shook

Can't believe it took me this long to watch and comment on the episode.

Akashi losing his grip and getting shit from his teammates was very satisfying, but what gets me the most is how he actually talked to himself, and ended up having that fire to win again, thanks to Kuroko.

Literally, Kuroko's style of basketball made it interesting for him again, kinda tossing a small redemption, rather than "I am the melon lord, all according to keikaku always"

And of course, here's the gif of the fast break by Iduki, Kuroko and Kagami (jbug posted it early but it was chopped, so imma post it again :P)

That gif is saved EMPHATICALLY!

I totally missed Kagami zipping past in the background to get in position for the Alley oop...

Dumb writing made this match pretty bad and awful now. ugh I feared this would happen to Rakuzan. Why cant writers write good matches, at least Haikyuu!! and Ace of Diamond have good writing.

Everyone can zone, really!!? And even then, Kuroko is some synchronization master with Zone, impossible

This is possibly the best episode of the show. Exciting as fuck from beginning to end.

When "Walk" started to play i lost it, incredible.

My favorite sports- anime ever.

Personally, I loved it.

I liked how Zone 2 reinforces the idea that teamwork is important. I really like the way it was animated as well with laser light show, haha! Those parts where the faces flashed on the screen looked like some sort of assist move shit in Marvel VS Capcom. I hope there are less pauses in the next episode. I want something like Kagami's alley-oop in episode 23 with the flashiness of Zone 2. One thing I'm kinda disappointed in was how they handed Rakuzan's Zone. It seemed rather lacking.

I like how different the real Akashi is from the one we've come to know.
