Bigger issue for something like Overwatch is lack of voice chat options.
At this point I wouldn't bother talking to people on Overwatch.

Switch has a patch size limitation in place as witnessed by NBA Playgrounds.

GTA Online is integral to GTAV they won't bring it to Switch if they can't make money from the Online Mode at the same time.

I feel like if it's a game that Nintendo really wants, they will do what's needed to get it on their platform. I remember an interview with the Rocket League Dev on IGN where Psyonix was still in discussions about brining it to Switch and they asked Nintendo about cross-network play, Nintendo said, whatever you need.
Whether GTAV is one of those games that Nintendo really want on their platform, who knows? If it is though, I'm sure the patch size limitation won't be an issue.
Patience.
And I'm sure thats something that could be relaxed easily enough for bigger publishers

Again, I don't think the argument as that these games won't or can't come, it's just that porting them requires a good deal of work and communication that's outside of the realm of normal/single player ports.

It's GTAV like you said. Nintendo wants that game on their system. They're not going to put restrictions on them I would think.
Did you not read the very same game got an exception to allow it to be past the limitation? It's not a hard limit, but a soft one. Exceptions have been and will be given out to those that need them, as witnessed by NBA Playgrounds.
I think the restriction days are over. NBA2K18 has a day one 17GB patch and DQX a day one 26GB patch. And such an exception could be given to GTA Online. I'm saying that such a thing could be an obstacle that needs to be addressed for GTA Online to come to Switch. Not that there is no way to work around it or means to get permission to avoid it. It would be a discussion between the two companies. If Take-Two and Rockstar wanted to bring GTA5 and GTA Online to Switch, then I'm sure Nintendo would have that discussion.

As expected. If LA Noire was less than 1080p then fuck the porters.

Switch has a docked mode.So 1080p on a 720p screen?
No I'm ok. Didn't play it, won't play it more on Switch. Nothing appealing to me in GTA games.I think everybody does at this point.
With regards to analogue triggers, is it possible that Nintendo could release some new Joy Cons that have them? Or are we set for good now.
I think I'll get LA Noire, never played it first time round.
I laughed at that.Patience.

Excellent. If LA Noire can be running, I have faith Rockstar will get GTA V running eventually.

GTA V runned on a ps3 .... it will run easily on a switch

Note that I'm in no way doubting the Switch here, and GTA V can definitely happen, and would/should definitely run better on there than on PS3 or 360. No question.
But somehow your message reminds me of the Switch port of Dragon Quest Heroes I and II: that somehow runs fairly poorly even though it's based on the downgraded PS3 versions of those. Just saying that when a publisher wants to rush things, you'll get shit performance regardless. Not saying Rockstar would do that though.

Doom's is not a day one patch right? It's DLCPatch size limits are a non issue. Doom has a day one 9gb patch. Nba 2k has a huge one.
It's not a big deal. They probably only restrict indie devs so they don't get out of hand. AAA publishers aren't going to even be questioned.
Patience until tomorrow at 11 am?
Mario Odyssey is now cancelledWHAT WILL HAPPEN THEN????
TELL MEEEEEEE
WHAT IS IN THE BOOOOOOOOOOOX
Red Dead Revolver 2 developed by Remedy. Switch exclusive. Limited edition console bundle with R* skinned joycons.WHAT WILL HAPPEN THEN????
TELL MEEEEEEE
WHAT IS IN THE BOOOOOOOOOOOX
Patience.
Even a port of GTAV that looks like the 360/PS3 versions of the game on Switch would do gangbusters. Portable GTAV isn't just an easy sell, it's also a system seller.
Table Tennis would be dope, though.
