Game looks great, just waiting on the site to work for me.
I didn't see anything but paypal. What are the payment options (for those that got it to work)?

ThanksPayPal. But you can still use it like most other PayPal online stores.
I hope you get so much traffic your servers catch on fire. You're letting me play La Mulana (again), no login issues will keep me from this.Right now PayPal is the only option.
We were originally hoping to use Google Checkout and Amazon Payments as well but we first need to set up an office and everything in the States(which is looking possible).
Sorry about the connections and login errors everyone! Things should be fixed now. If you are still having problems might be a good idea to clear your cookies.
Our servers got slammed pretty bad but the programmers are working their magic to help smooth things out!
If there are any other problems email us please!
Bought, downloaded, and ready to see a hell.
Just to note (well, anyone that can actually get through): if the Playism site gives you a 500 error upon completing your PayPal transaction, check the Downloads section in your account. The game you bought is likely there, showing that the transaction actually went through properly.
Hmmm, given the japanese flavour of playism I was kinda hoping for some rpgs/shmups/adventurish vn's.
Yeah we are of course going to branch out to more titles.
I can say that we do have a couple of RPGs and Shmup style games in the works.
One of the next games we release in the next couple of weeks will definitely have that unique 'Japanese flavour'
It's probably one of the most ridiculous games ever created.
Great to hear! It'd be nice also to see some of the more involved adventure/visual novels (like the stuff that got localised for the DS - lux pain, hotel dusk, last window, time hollow).
Although I guess that's a lot more time & money to localise...
Try downloading it again; I'm not sure if they have actually updated the archive but just re-iterating what I heard elsewhere. Also it's a bit silly to call it a pc port when la-mulana is a pc game. Anyway, I've had no issues so far.La Mulana is really, really buggy.
Reports from others saying it'll randomly crash, or certain graphics are missing.
Me? It freezes whenever I exit the menu.
Not the greatest PC port.
It's a port of the Wiiware version.Try downloading it again; I'm not sure if they have actually updated the archive but just re-iterating what I heard elsewhere. Also it's a bit silly to call it a pc port when la-mulana is a pc game. Anyway, I've had no issues so far.
Yeah, from my understanding the dlc bumps things above the 42MB cap, and while NCL allows that I guess it's a no go for NOA/NOE these days. The thing that's been holding the Wiiware version back in the US cert has been the DLC capability, for some reason. Presumably, they mean that they'll remove the capability for DLC from the US Wiiware version.
I think I've read this comment before. Did something bad happen with Cave Story+ or NightSky?As long as Nicalis isnt involved, im in.
Nicalis announced the WiiWare cancellation over twitter before informing Nigoro first iirc. There's also some question if they were holding up their end of the deal for certification/localization. Pretty shitty and shady on their part.I think I've read this comment before. Did something bad happen with Cave Story+ or NightSky?
Yeah one of the biggest problems is that a lot of those games are never created with localization in mind which means a lot of times every line is hard coded.
So even if we are able to cover the localization costs on our end, the developer often times cannot afford the time or resources to implement the localization.
We are looking into some solutions so that we can bring some of those kinds of titles over.
The game is super great!
No DRM that I can find.
