Lady Gaga JUDAS Hype Thread [It'll be better this time, promise!]

I don't know if the problem is LaurieAnn or Gaga. Most likely it's a combination of both though.

That being said, I lahv that she attempts to dance. Infinitely better than just not... dancing (I'm not going to cite the basic trio again).

Since there's no Gaga general thread, I'll post this here.

Incredible take on one of Gaga's greatest. Amazing talent, as well.
This was posted in a thread of its own actually. Pretty amazing and the guys are kinda-slightly-maybe hot.

Damn, must've been when I still wasn't approved.

And as for the sorta-hot thing, I'm a straight male, but dat beard.

So I heard this for the first time today... Yeah, pretty shitty song imo. I'm not a lady gaga hater or anything, in fact poker face is one of my guilty pleasure songs hahaha... it's just that her new songs are just kinda lacking for whatever reason.

I want to hear Americano so bad if it really has a Mariachi bridge

E will air the Judas music video.. And the music video cost $10 million to make?! Wouldn't that make it the most expensive music video, ever?

Source.

Have we got a monster of a surprise.
Lady Gaga and E! News are teaming up for the world premiere of "Judas," the controversial and much-anticipated new video from the recording powerhouse. The video premieres uncut and in its entirety Thursday, May 5 at 7 and 11:30 p.m.
And what can we tease tell you about it? Read on…

Following up on the smash premiere of "Telephone" on E! News in 2010, this seven-minute, $10 million masterwork will air without interruption and in its entirety, and will be followed by a revealing interview in which Gaga tells our own Giuliana Rancic about her life, music and the uproar already surrounding "Judas." Fans will no doubt be glad to learn that the singer co-directed the clip with choreographer Laurianne Gibson, star of E!'s The Dance Scene.

Loaded with biblical imagery and religious overtones, the clip is sure to provoke controversy and conversation—so be sure to check out E! Online on Friday for full video of Gaga's exclusive interview as well as the clip.

"It's fantastic to have Gaga back at E! for the debut of ‘Judas,'" said Suzanne Kolb, President of Marketing, News and Online for E! and Style. "She's an incredible talent and pop culture icon and we're excited to work with her and Interscope once again to bring our viewers this highly anticipated premiere."
Don't miss the "Judas" world premiere as airs in its entirety May 4th on E! News at 11:30p.m. ET/PT—and on E! Online at 8 p.m.

ETERNALLY JEALOUS OMG. I cannot imagine how crazy the last show is going to be.

I liked the Ellen performance just coz the choreography's stuck in my head, lol. I'm assuming the music video's gonna have the same moves, so that'll be cool. It's like Bad Romance's choreography but wilder, and not as sporadic and random as Born This Way.

I didn't recognise any of the scenes from Gagavision in the actual Ellen choreography. I think we're in for something better for the actual video.

I wonder if Americano will indeed be played at the last show in Mexico.

And here's the tracklisting for the DELUXE version:

BONUS TRACKS:
1. Black Jesus † Amen Fashion
2. Fashion of His Love
3. The Queen

Commentary:

1. loling jumping from Born This Way to Government Hooker. Dat contrast.
2. There is a Ü in You and I, for some reason.
3. DELUXE has two discs!
4. It appears we're getting the Mugler remix of Scheiße!
5. loling more, everyone will be getting motorcyclaga one way or the other.

So excited for the music video! A pleasant surprise to see the track listings in here, too, although I was hoping for the music video :p

Still think you should wait a bit longer. For example, had you posted it earlier, you wouldn't have had the official tracklistings! Now you do.

Mine is alphabetical anyway as it's a bit of a clusterfuck to account for numbering the tracks between both versions (I was fairly certain the numbering would be off since Gaga insists that Marry The Night opens the album and The Edge of Glory closes it. Which is odd since she refers to BTW as the "gateway" for the album). I had all the tracks but the bonus tracks already, for what it's worth. We knew the tracklisting of the original album for almost a week now. >_>

I suppose I should wait for the music video to hit + everything to die down from there on.

...Sigh.

Seriously, what is with this Jeebus-trip that she's on? I've tried to forgive her for Gaga-Davidson--and this is all coming from a devout fan of her music. BTW was a bust (in my eyes), and I'm ambivalent about Judas. :/

Mmmm Mugler remix of Sheibe is so good.

Man, I am excited :)
I know right. I feared the normal Scheiße would sound basic in comparison, but there's nothing to worry about now!

The part in the Gagavision 44 or whatever # it was where we first saw Judas choreography is in Ellen, it's the very first sequence when she begins singing "When he calls to me I am ready" She just does it a little differently than in the rehearsal, not full out/holding microphone/etc. We're in for something better because she often dances better in videos (not having to sing live helps) but that's most likely the whole routine.

I love Bad Romance, really like Judas and hated BTW. I hope the video is awesome.

I kind of want the MUGLER remix of Government Hooker more, especially if the original song sounds so different.

Came here to post this.

Hopefully she'll release it one day.

I don't understand why she couldn't use this picture for the main cover.

what, I thought the picture of her as a part of a bike was a joke.

How embarrassing.

It's a real condition you bastard. My aunt was half motorcycle.

EDIT: "Black Jesus" and "The Queen" sound epic. "Fashion of his Love" sounds like a corny ballad though. What does that even mean? Eh, it's Gaga. She'll make it work.

I fucking haaaaate that the bonus tracks were given a proper track listing amongst the regular tracks.

shameless.

Really? I think in many occasions it's plainly obvious that a certain song is supposed to "end" the album, and I find it jarring when that song is followed by bonus tracks. I like that Gaga kept the song that she has referred to as the thematic end last on all versions.

I don't understand why she couldn't use this picture for the main cover.
loling, I just realized the Special Edition technically has more motorcycle than the original version.

dis bitch is trolling all buyers equally.

I have a feeling Fashion of his Love will be something about Alexander McQueen.

There's no "slightly" or "maybe" about it. I want to be in the middle!

As for Judas...I've come to terms with the fact it's "Rock Me Sexy Jesus" 2.0. It stinks! [/JaySherman]

That scene looks very Telephone-esque. Hoping the video is going that route, I want something balls-out insane. It's overdue.

I really should stop imagining how Gaga's videos are going to turn out, I try to go with the lyrics but I should know by now they never have anything to do with it

Do you think it's possible this will continue the PapaPhone storyline? =P

Or does Jonas Akerlund need to direct the clip for us to even consider it?

I'd like to think it'll continue that storyline, but yeah Akerlund has been too involved in it to not finalize (or continue) the saga. Who know though.

Americano sounds promising. Melody could be awesome if paired with the right backing track.

Re: PapaPhone- I wonder how they would begin the next video, because Telephone ended with GaGa and Beyonce riding into the sunset. I'm hoping for a "Honey B died on the way back to her home planet" reference whilst her Run the World song plays in a sad, acousticy way.

It actually sounds pretty amazing. Weird she's choosing much more weaker songs to release as singles. Hopefully Marry The Night repents.

That being said, JUDAS and Born This Way have been pretty satisfying.

Can't even with that video though (and the other I found is just as shitty lol). Haven't heard more than a second because of how muddy it is.

Here's a supposed snippet of the instrumental. Sounds really hot.

Edit: DAMN, it seems like it's no longer there lol. I haven't closed the tab so I can still hear it.

There's a Mexican woman who really scares me in that video you posted.

I saw that version originally, Koodo. Sorry I should've iterated, I didn't even check to see if it were the same one.

I love the voice she puts on in Americano. I hope she sticks with it in the studio version, and it's probably going to much more sped up too.

These were being played while people were lining up at the show, apparently. It's the mariachi inspired breakdown. SKORPION confirmed it (he's the guy she first told about Marry The Night to)

http://www.multiupload.com/1S03QPZ6NV

Some creepy guy on Twitter who accurately predicted THE QUEEN and FASHION OF HIS LOVE or something as bonus tracks is reporting that something will leak May 10th. It will be HUGE if true. It's also possible that this is the date MTN/Americano will be released on iTunes as a promo single?

He implies that it's absolutely HUGE though, probably the whole album? I know it's bad but I would love that to be the case. =p
