That's what you get for venturing into the hot Barsoom desert unprepared. Woola says hi, motherfucker.
I know it sounds counter intuitive, but this. Not recommended on second degree, I use apple cider vinegar and put it in the refrigerator for extra coolness.Believe it or not vinegar helps the pain and itch. For me its better than aloe.
I've never been sunburned. What's it like? I mean, I get that it hurts but does it feel like sore muscles? Or like acid on the skin?
You ever get a skin irritation from a bag or shoulder straps? Or being out in the cold wind? It feels like that, it stings and is kind of itchy. If you get a bad burn, it feels like that, multiplied by 50 and your entire back turns into a blister.I've never been sunburned. What's it like? I don't get why some people don't use sunscreen.
I live in The Netherlands. The days a year that it's warm and sunny outside whilst I have the day off can probably be counted on one hand. This weekend I decided to take what I could get. Some people seem to neglect the fact that you can also get a tan by sitting only 30 minutes to an hour per day in the sun. It takes a little longer but it sure beats the chance of getting skin cancer and what this guy has.
Doesn't matter if it is overcast outside. You can still get a tan, though apparently, you are more likely to burn as the UV rays penetrate clouds like angry gods while whatever rays tan you are lessened somewhat.I live in The Netherlands. Just because it became 'socially unacceptable' to stay white people want to get a tan in mere weeks. Why do you think we are being warned and that they are showing a 20% - 30% increase with people who get skin cancer. The sun is good for your body but not when you are going to sit on the beach for 6 hours straight.
Yes, but it increases significantly with peeling burns. Is the skin cancer risk still present if you sit in the sun for 6 hours but don't get burned?

Yo. Grew up on the beach... never tanned a day in my life. If I'm not wearing sunscreen, I have a hat or a thin hooded, long-sleeved jacket I can put on if I wind up in direct sunlight.Unfortunately that's not true for people who burn easily. Some people just don't tan, they straight-up burn instead. 30 minutes and I'm turning pink. Of course, living in Texas where the sun is particularly hot plays a role I'm sure. I've got a ton of freckles and have had them my whole life.
For festivals and other stuff where I am outside all day, I make sure I have something to drape over my neck and ears as well as lathering up.

Whenever I hear stories like this, it makes me even happier to be black
You are going to have to wrap yourself up well now.
