Still a concept at this point, but probably entering production due to the hype and rival companies doing the same thing.

That's right, you're looking at the first gasoline-electric hybrid Lamborghini. A plug-in hybrid, in fact, that can travel 31 miles on electricity alone. The powertrain combines the 5.2-liter V10 and seven-speed DSG from the Huracán (good for 610 metric horsepower) to a trio of electric motors (good for another 300) to bring total output up to a claimed 910 – equivalent to 897 hp by our standards - assuming all four motors are running at peak output at the same time. That makes it the most powerful Lamborghini we've ever seen, and puts it in league with the McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. The result is a 0-62 time quoted at three seconds flat and a top speed of 199 miles per hour, or up to 78 mph in pure electric mode.
First plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology demonstrator providing a new Lamborghini cruising experience with superior power, daily drivability and comfort
· Hybrid system power: V10 5,2 l naturally aspirated engine combined with three electric motors delivers a total power of 669 kW/910 hp, enough for acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.0 s and a top speed of 320 km/h
· CO2 emissions of 98 g/km and 50 km pure electric range
· Breakthrough technological architecture in an innovative carbon fiber monocoque with a body designed in a new, unexpected and sensual way, respecting Lamborghini heritage

That's a really, really conservative design for Lamborghini. If it wasn't a hybrid it would be ultimately forgettable.

Looks kinda boring compared to the Mclaren P1.

And the last thing you want from a Lambo is looking boring

Ok, who fell asleep on the Lamborghini design team and then rushed the night before to put a design out? That's quite boring for a Lamborghini.

That looks bad. It looks bad and Lamborghini should feel bad.

Seriously, its really dull and seems like something I'd expect from some generic fledgling supercar company. They cant have a car where their baby and standard supercar models look more exciting than their flagship.

Ha! The McLaren P1 does a whole 6 miles on batteries alone. LOL

Of the two, I'd take the P1 in a heartbeat. :p

Mclaren don't really hide the fact that their hybrid system is simply there so you can go faster on hot laps. It also giving a lower tax group and green points? Meh lucky coincidence.

Man, Lamborghini's design team really checked out. To be fair though, pretty much every exotic 2+2 looks fugly.
