I think I first played Fallout 2 some 6 or 7 years ago when I didn't quite 'get' it, downloaded an editor and shot up every town. I recently made the mistake of reinstalling it and giving away my free time to this post-apocalyptic time sink.
What a marvelously DENSE game. The sheer volume of stuff to do is staggering. Isn't this what we should be expecting from next-gen gaming? Alas, I seem to have managed to exile myself from Vault City and with no way in, I can't seem to complete the game. One of FO2's many game-stopping bugs. Still, here I am at 2AM, barely awake, barely cogent and all I can think of is starting a new character...
