Wow, this game has the absolute worst community I have ever encountered.
I got an invite to this game this morning and played the tutorial and a bot match.
Thinking I had a reasonable understanding of how to play I hopped online.

Literally every single person has been cussing me out, calling me all sorts of heinous shit and telling me to quit.
It's unbelievable! Fuck these people.

That's definitely an outlier. Try a couple more matches. Admittedly I haven't played in a week but the months before that I only ran into ass holes on very rare occasions. Maybe the flood of new players has turned the once-pleasant community to shit?

I saw the collectors edition on sale yesterday at a Wal Mart. Is it out already or did they fuck up?

they did yesterday a new 3v3 map the one that was on shacknews, unfortunately they completely destroyed the old hud.

You would not believe the venom from the vocal minority on the beta forums.

The new HUD is not perfect, but it's a shit ton better imo and will continue to improve as we add more options and keep working on the art.

I got into the beta three days ago, and can't stop playing. It's so addictive! I've never even seen DotA but judging from this I must have missed out. Awesome game. I can't wait for the new maps and everything else they have to offer.

Wow, I do not understand the complaints. Do people actually play this game with the UI? If you play with the keyboard for actions the changes are purely cosmetic. I think it looks a little bit cleaner personally, but it's not that drastic a change in reality.

Big fan of the new announcer and I love the end game animation. Much better than the jarring cut.

I prefer HoN to this one. Course you gotta pay for HoN when it comes out, but I just enjoy playing it much more for some reason.

I actually strongly prefer the old UI. Having very large, visible buttons that showed cooldowns and that I could easily tell apart at a glance were one of the things I really liked. Now everything is mashed together in little squares like every other game's UI I don't like.

That said, the game still rules. I just got an email about redeeming my pre-order code...can we do that now?
