Leak: Ubisoft presentation on representation (cites Anita Sarkeesian's content agenda)

Your question mark at the end makes this seem like a question..?

I mean that taken on its own, the leaks from UbiSoft are entirely innocuous or even positive.. I think the irritation here is because the board sees them as capitulating to a larger political narrative and set of attitudes they don't like.

I knew a girl that used to draw Street Fighter characters in school. She was my age and she was big into SF and other games. Another one really liled Sonic and other platformers. I always knew girls who played games and my wife was also big into Mega Drive in the early 90's. This whole thing about girls onlu playing games after the 2000's is a fucking fallacy.

My sis loved playing Phantasmagoria 1 (unedited version) .A game that caused moral outrage and panic back then because it had horrific scenes were women were tortured and even had a rape scene of the woman protagonist. Produced by the great Roberta Williams nonetheless. It also sold over 1 million copies, an amazing number if you consider the computer landscape back then.
Mortal Kombat looked like kindergarten compared to this.
Today it would be impossible for such a game to become mainstream, even if it encompasses such things into the story. Eg even fake hints of Lara Croft getting raped cause rmageddon on Twitter, forums and social media.

Reminder.

That bitch needs to fuck off.

Oh sorry, that was rather unfriendly of me huh? Nah. Tired of her. Also glad as hell CDPR didn't respond at all to her.

They literally have a project going on for it:

It's shit like this that makes me not feel bad at all when I hear devs bitch about development costs. Wanna save money? One way is to stop making your games a social experiment and remember that they are fictional works designed to provide entertainment and most people won't remember any of them in 20 years anyway. Bandying around this progressive bullshit is a complete waste of time because it totally ignores why someone plays a game to begin with, and that goes whether they have a penis, a vagina, or an ass they use as a vagina. Games are meant to be fun. Progressive agendas are not fun. Having some fuckhead wag their finger at you and virtue signal is not fun. It's quite simple really. Just make good games, I don't care about your politics and don't want to hear/see/experience them. If you want to build shit for women go make movies on the Lifetime or Hallmark channel.

My brother still has the Phantasmagoria game with the case and everything! It was a 7 cd-rom pack! I was legit scared of that game back in the day, it felt so forbidden to play it, it was truly awesome. Great, great example and your sister is awesome automatically for liking that game!

Whenever someone writes "cis" and "able bodied" I know automatically that they are "mentally challenged" to say the least. lol

I have a term for you, Box-sellers, the more boxes they can sell to you the better.
Left on their own, they will continue to sell you ever smaller boxes, until they go full circle and recognize that people are individuals again.

I have serious beef with any people trying to tear people in categories.
As if people are not more than the sum of their parts.
