Because its a fucking video game with a 2 Billion dollar budget and I genuinely don't think humans will ever see something like this again for a very long time.

You're weird to me if you're not getting GTA 6.

Even beyond the hype, it should represent the absolute peak of the medium on all fronts. The closest thing gaming has ever had to a true magnum opus.

I can say with confidence, you're not a fan of the medium if you can just skip the most ambitious and expensive game of all time.

The husband of my sister is a gamer but when i asked him if he's excited about GTA 6 he said "No, i tried GTA 5 but it wasn't for me"
That blew my mind honestly. But he is busy with life and doesn't play much games anymore so yeah.

The problem with this poll is Half Life 3 has nothing to show while GTA VI does.

GTA VI would just win just because its a product that we have seen. Half-Life 3 will forever remain an imagination.

I don't give a fuck of HL3 since Valve don't know how to create video game and finished their story (nice shit retcon on Alyx).

I'm waiting for that cliff hanger to be resolved since fucking 2007. And then again since 2020. I still replay Half-Life 2 regularly because it's still fun. So it's easily Half-Life 3 for me.

This sounds like the same hype around Red Dead 2 and that game was complete shit from a mission design standpoint. I'm going to reiterate that 200 million gave you less options than Deus Ex to beat a mission but at least you got to stare at horse nuts shrinking in the snow - The absolute peak of video games, everyone!

Half Life.

What's appealing about GTA is just the production values, seeing what Rockstar can pull off on current gen and with a massive budget. But I've never cared much about the gameplay in them.

Half Life would make me more interested in seeing what they've done in terms of tech, interactivity and design to finally decide it's time to make the third one.

Sales wise GTA VI would destroy Half life 3. Which is a better game not sure but valve does not make bad games so..i also really liked alyx.

HL2 was a tech wonder of its time too as its facial animations is still better than most modern games and it predates PS360 era.
