LET'S CATCH SOME POKEMON: Google Maps Pokemon Challenge

This just aint working for me. Android 4.1.2, Maps seems to be up to date (only seeing Open and Uninstall in the Play Store), but no start button when I hit search, just the usual recent search history, the buttons for restaurants/bars/etc, and "Make this map area available offline".

I can't believe they got Nintendo's permission, but there it is, their copyright and Game Freaks. This is incredible for them.

Dewott in Niagara Falls, they obviously go to bookmarks, so check any historical place for them pokemans.
How do you get this thing to start?

It's always on. It was always on. Just go around and check your city and other cities for pokemons. You must be pretty zoomed in to see them.

Nintendo has done a few digital marketing programs these past few months or so.
I've been saying, it's nice that they are finally starting to play this game in a meaningful way.

Likely part of their strategy they talked about using more social/mobile platforms as message/content delivery for their games... as a communication vehicle, as opposed to a distribution platform for their games.

Then again, it could just be a really cool idea they co-funded ::shrug::.
I just like to see how tactics ladder together.

I found a Mudkip at Woods Hole, and a Sableeye on key west (and disney world).

I only found 3 in Boston, one at the science museum, one at MIT, and one near park street.

This is such a time killer...

I zoomed in on several spots listed on the spreadsheet and I see nothing

I have Android 2.3.6 on a Straosphere (the first one) and my Google Maps thinks it's up to date, too, and I have no pokeymans option. It's frustrating.
