Technically both men were wrong, one for blatant racism, the other for assault.
The second guy could have my sympathy for the first punch though, but not the second one. There's a difference between a strong physical reaction in a specific situation (I can't say I wouldn't do it myself), and continued agression towards a guy who was not only down on the floor but in a dangerous position.

so what about hispanics who dont like other hispanics from other countries or asians who dont like asians from other countries or africans from other countries . should they all just fight until one wins? does one need to dominate the other. one thing ive learned its so easy to hate another person for bullshit reasons. if you are from another country if justified or some shit

I guess what this comes down to is that in the English lexicon we possess a word able to trigger African Americans into justifiable acts of violence.

I understand it but at the same time I dont get it. I think it's an actual incredible thing in a civil society.

Is it just the N bomb tho? Do other racial epitaphs also lead to justifiable violence?
Does this work with all races? Do whites, Jews, Mexicans get this ability?

Hey, I'm not saying you dont deal with racial shit..but I refuse to believe in 2018 this is a daily problem.

I do think a some minorities have this boogie man/victim complex fed to them via the media and such. Like "I went into the store, they were looking at me wrong and the lady was rude to me...cause I was black!"
When in reality, the store did that to everyone and that chick was a cunt to everyone.

I think your taking the fuckery we all deal with as a racial thing if it's a daily basis thing.
 
The rethoric on this thread is kinda been concerning... if speech (no matter how hateful it is) justify acting out in violence, then people can use that same reasoning to punch people they don't like because they got offended by what they said.

On one hand you might feel good about that vid... but on the other hand you got papa john's dude getting his life ruined for the same word in a different context...

I didn't say they were equally wrong (nor that both can be compared actually, it's apple and oranges).
But using racist slurs against people is wrong indeed. Punching people is wrong too. That's not really controversial opinions.

Well, it's great that you have the luxury that you can refuse to believe what happens to black people everyday, but as a black guy I can tell you not a week goes by when I don't have to put up with some kind of bullshit, whether it's a dirty stare just passing someone on the street, or some asshole shouting insults as they speed by in their car at 50 miles an hour. These are just the minor things. I been attacked, spat at, followed and I live in Edinburgh which is about as liberal as you can get.
I do not live my life worrying about these things or seeking out racists, but I can not hide the colour of my skin and it has made me a target for every asshole in the area. From birth to now. This is a thing you cannot understand if you have not lived it. So when I see a video of some scumbag standing in front a man, trying to dehumanize and humiliate him because of his skin, and he gets knocked out. I feel no pity for that man. He deserved what he got.

not coming to a conclusion of which is worse is still bad. saying " well this is bad but this is also bad" when clearly knocking someone the fuck out who is tiny even if they are saying something bad. i mean people can try and justify it.

That's not a proper answer to my questions. To be frank, I'm not impressed by the testosterone pumped up stance, you can rather go find some neo-nazis to strike a pose for, this is a forum where we talk and debate each other. Why are you deflecting? Again, do you have children? And why exactly is the rationale behind choosing to worsen the problem instead of bettering it? Nothing to discuss , no situation will ever end well if you call a black person a nigger. It's 2018 past the civil Rights movement and racial equality acts . If you think it's remotely okay to call someone a racial slur in public you are asking for a beating. It's almost a no brainier their is nothing to discuss.
