The best way to do something is vote with your wallet. Stop subscribing.
Ironically the only real way to fix PSN is if the consumer continues to give money to Sony for them to use that money to stabilize the service.
So don't commit to an ecosystem. Live in them all. You get all of the exclusives... And you get to be high and mighty above the console warz because you don't have a horse in the race. It's great... (and cheap this Gen compared to last too).
Being "committed" has a connotation of "insanity" you know? ^_^;
Well a lot of people have PS+ catalog games they might want to play and are subscribing for that rather than subscribing strictly for the online service, making it difficult to send that message.
Can't people in America just start suing Sony if this keeps up? I mean a paid product/service is supposed to be working an ''x'' amount of time right...?
I fully agree though, this is starting to get really ridiculous. If PSN was still free I would see it through but now... come on.
I don't think they have the incentive to fix it. PlayStation is doing great, the rest of Sony is not. They're probably using our PS+ money to help prop up thr rest of the company...

Makes you wonder if another company would be interested in purchasing the Playstation brand.
I am afraid that the success of the PS4 will just go towards paying down debts rather than creating a better product.
The #PS4NoDRM campaign really got the ball moving.

That's the whole point of voting with your wallet though. If you consider that the subscription is worth it, then by keeping it you send the message that things aren't so bad and you're happy enough with the service. Which is a valid opinion, but that rather comforts Sony not to change a thing.
Because "I don't want to lose my PS+ games" and "The consistency of the service working is disappointing" = I'm happy with the service. What you are basically saying is you are happy with the service then.
What a load of crap-static
You have any proof of this? Sony need to improve their online infrastructures cause they suddenly have businesses lioke Gaikai, online tv deal with Viacom and more, so the infrastructure will be improved as Kaz Hiral made it, but to assume everytime PSN goes down that Sony arent doing anything is ridiclous. If they want to keep making money, they will have to spend money on improving the service
Should people have to deal with one part of the service they consider bad because they happen to like another part of the service? If yes, are you saying they should just deal with it, or should they express their displeasure in the way OP is suggesting?

lol. It was decided months before E3 that the system would be that way. Had nothing to do with the twitter campaign.

Yes. Think about it. What you are saying is that the PS+ games alone are worth the price of admission to you. Ultimately the only thing that matters in these cases is money. You can tweet and email until the cows come home but if you are doing that while at the same time continuing to pay the subscription fee because you can't bear to part with your PS+ games, what message does that really send?
That's the idea. Being unsatisfied with something and continuing to pay for it is oxymoronic. Not like you can't sell your PS4.I'd agree but once you have a PS4, doing that means missing out on a significant portion of the experience.

Not when there are more satisfactory alternatives cough Xbox Live.People pay for things all the time they aren't satisfied for. If your internet is spotty do you instantly change provider or do you complain?
I expected it to get better instead of worse when they asked us to start paying for the service....
Works perfectly for me on PS3 and Vita.

Why are people coming in to say they aren't having problems with the service ?. If its all good for you, why post ?. Put your loyalty in something other than a company and let the users who are having issues voice them. If it can help improve the service regardless whether you are having issues right now or not (which could happen to you), its good for everyone....
Okay, so don't help. Next?
Me too, I know it goes down sometimes, and can be an inconvenience, but I teach with technology so I experience how technology isn't 100percent dependable like every day..
For example, yesterday Google Drive went down for many people across the country for a couple of hours. It sucked for my class, so we had to do something else, it threw my lesson plans behind a day, and we moved on...
PSN went down today, the store went down, so I just surfed GAF until it came back. I guess I don't get to worked up about it....but I understand why others do.
