I love Level-5's awesome worlds and interesting art styles, but at least in the RPG genre I've long since grown tired of another of their identifying traits as developers: flawed, simple, boring gameplay (pick one or more).

If their gameplay was better they'd be top tier and the thing is that there are definitely some good ideas there (particularly in Rogue Galaxy and Jeanne D'arc IMO), but they're either poorly balanced, not fleshed out enough, or just don't do a good job entertaining and it's incredibly frustrating.
