Lewd Medieval Times lawsuit against Randy Pitchford dismissed

I'm sure this is a load off the minds of Gearbox employees. Pitchford still seems like a piece of work, though.

Pitchford and former general counselor Wade Callendar have "resolved their differences." Sounds like an out-of-court settlement to me (edit: some are reporting it as such), but it's all under nondisclosure.

To recap:

Gearbox sued Callender (a close friend of Pitchford's for over 40 years) for allegedly failing to repay a $300,000 USD cash loan intended to help finance a new home purchase...In retaliation, Callender countersued...That suit accused Pitchford of breaching his fiduciary duties...suit also claimed that the Gearbox CEO owned a USB drive containing a "personal collection of 'underage' pornography"

(The USB drive was left behind at a Medieval Times.)

It's important to note that it's not just the parties dropping charges against each other. The court concluded: "Upon review of all the evidence in the case, it was of the opinion of counsel that the evidence exonerated Randy Pitchford from the allegations against him."

Make me your magic trick if old

You can’t put the genie back in the bottle. But is it a worst case scenario? Well, not if the allegations were true. At least this way he keeps his liberty, even if he has surrendered his reputation.

His reputation is synonymous with "borrowing" money from Sega meant for Colonial Marines.

You can't toss shade at a blackhole.

I mean, sure, the misallocation of Sega's funds got us more Borderlands, but, at the end of the day... Borderlands 3. :/
