Rob Zombie - Dragula

edit: I'm sorry if the image is insanely large. Dunno how to shrink it.

Already mentioned probably 100 times, but anything off the THPS2 soundtrack. I still hear the 10 second countdown when the songs are on the radio.

Passion Pit - Sleepyhead (LittleBigPlanet2 trailer but reminds me of the entire series).

Garbage - Not Your Kind of People - MGSV: Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain (used on first trailer for GZ but IS both games to me).

Starsailor - Way to Fall (MGS3).

Weezer - Dope Nose (Amplitude PS2).

Weezer - Automatic (LA Riots remix) - (GT5 prologue).

Goldfinger - Superman (Tony Hawk).

Just three of a load that could be listed but for some reason these stuck out:

All I Want (Offspring): Crazy Taxi (Dreamcast)
One Hundred Mile High City (Ocean Colour Scene): Three Lions (Playstation)
Paradise City (Guns n' Roses): Burnout Paradise

Oh god yeah! Great shout on OCS and Three Lions!

I remember watching the first trailer for that on a PSOne demo disk tons of time; barely had any gameplay but bloody hell did it get the adrenaline pumping (this was back when I was a teenager and thought England would win major international tournaments).

Moonlight Sonata - Resident Evil

Are you going to go my way -Gran Turismo 3
Turbo Lover - Gran Turismo 3

Ace of spades - Tony Hawk 2 or 3

Out of touch - GTAVC
Keep on loving you - GTAVC
She Dropped a bomb on me - GTAVC
I can go on and on, best soundtrack ever.

A horse with no name - GTASA
Cult of personality - GTASA

Fire starter - wipeout

Every song from Fallout 3

Under the sea - Bioshock

Tom Sawyer - All Pro Football 2k8

Free Bird - Guitar Hero 2

Placebo: The Bitter End - SSX 3

The Naked and Famous: Young Boood - SSX reboot

Prodigy: Firestarter - Wipeout 2097

Chemical Brothers: Under the Influence - Wipeout 3

Fat Boy Slim: Soul Surfing - Rollcage

Tons of songs remind me of Rockband but other than that here are the two that immediately came to mind:

Gran Tourismo 2 - "My Favourite Game" - The Cardigans

NHL 2002 - "I Hear You Calling" - Gob

High by the lighthouse family and the Tibetan monastery level of Tomb Raider 2. I think it was playing on the radio in the background while I was playing the game. It's been like 20 years but the association of swan diving off one of the towers to that song will be forever ingrained iny mind.

I came expecting lots of answers referring to 'Though the flame and Fire' from DragonForce and Guitar Hero, but maybe it's too casual for some to associate!.. /s

Ssx tricky - higher ground by chilli peppers

Ssx tricky had a first class soundtrack but it was how it was implemented that blew me away, i haven't seen it done before or since. I was gutted when ssx3 didn't have the feature.

It starts the music with just the baseline, and as you do more tricks and fill the meter the guitar kicks in and finally when the tricky bar is full the vocals blast out. It felt amazing.

Oh and tricky by run dmc obviously. Bitter end by placebo was in there too.

Licensed tracks, I dunno. But I think I bought Rage Against the Machine's Evil Empire album the same day I bought Resident Evil 1, because 20 years later I still can't play one without thinking of the other.

While not licensed, can't hear Ava Maria without thinking Hitman

As for a licensed song, Gravity Kills had several in Test Drive Offroad, and 'Guilty' is one I always associate with that game. While it wasn't the greatest of games, I had a lot of fun with my little brother playing two player flooring it around the openish maps.

Papa Roach - Blood Brothers
Rage Against the Machine - Guerrilla Radio

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Epic.

That entire soundtrack makes me think of THPS2.

Maybe the best game soundtrack featuring licensed music of all time - even better then GTA Vice City.

/come at me bros lol
