Lightning Returns FFXIII - Snow confirmed!

I swear Lightning's sword was forged out of some rusty red pipe or something.

Did that sword receive an official name yet?

Last thing I recall was it was called "Red Custard" but that can't be right. At all.

Nope. Get real. All characters are good in their own way in XIII. The only character I would agree is kinda crap is Vanille, but thats mainly because of her voice actress. That being said, literally all other character range from decent to perfect (perfect = Lightning).

I'm okay with this. Noel called him out on being a douche in XIII-2, so at least Toriyama acknowledged it.

Now, if we could see some actual character development instead of pretending that never happened that would be great (a man can dream).

If he looks more like his XIII than XIII-2 design I'll be happy.

Too bad there aren't any extra party members...

Story sounds really stupid, I hope its making fun of itself somewhat like X-2 rather than actually taking all this crap seriously.

Well Toriyama directed X-2(IT'S THE GULLWINGS!) so odds are it might be a parody game of the lamest proportions known to RPG's. Image Epoch level gaming here we go.

I should hope not, he's hardly the type of guy that mows down hundreds of guys without giving a shit.

Some Coccoon terrorists kidnap Dajh. Sazh goes on an all-or-nothing rampage to get his kid.

Add in some 70's blaxplotation movie soundtrack and a new double agent chick who falls for him. BAM! Instant success.

Oh sorry, didn't know.

*Hahahaha I thought it would be a great idea to tell people where to get scans, RIP me!*

He got a Riku do. I'm not sure if that's an improvement over his 13 rag, but I suppose it's an improvement over his chocobo hair.

Man, I know some people couldn't stand him, but Snow was actually one of the less annoying characters in FFXIII. I hate what they've done with the guy since then, but the arc of this whole trilogy is just weird as fuck.

The design looks cool, I guess, but how are any of these characterizations consistent with what we've seen before? Toriyama, man...

Wait, what?

Nomura secretly seeking revenge :0
Final Fantasy XV Versus Revengeance, is this how it's going to roll?

There is no arc to the trilogy, that's why it's a mess.

His hair is like in XIII, only without the doucherag - and it's longer.
His suit is all black and has a popped collar, and has that necklace still - is he not wearing a shirt under it?
Also, he's wearing black leather gloves.
He looks like he's not slept in a long time, doesn't look especially friendly.

He looks less terrible than the previous two games, imo.

Snow was amusing in XIII as someone who thought he was the main (shonen) character, but wasn't.

At least he is putting on a suit. Maybe he will actually know how to run a city.

Snow is the most annoying character in XIII.
He's fine in XIII-2 largely because he's stuck in his own little place in time and space where only giant flans live.

If they make him brooding and evil in this one then that's a huge improvement.

Honestly, despite how much I hate him, that's not a bad design.
Shame Lightning couldn't get one just as good.

Maybe evil Snow will gain redemption for you in this one.

It's funny but some characters are more likeable if they have gone bad, for example I think Lightning would be a much better character if she was evil.

He looks like a new Tekken dude now. And that's not even bad.

Really? Compared with Hope, Vanille, and Lightning? I'll take the stock happy-go-lucky anime hero character any day. Plus, dude's a total bro.
