Watching the diving competition is just depressing. The commentators groan or dismissively mumble "no, no, no" on every dive before the contestant even tucks. I have no idea what's going on! I was beginning to think the audio was out of sync, but the splashes are right on cue.
Uh, the US already makes billions every year from Football already. It's called the NFL.
Why would change the name of Soccer, just so we could cash in one more time... when the NFL is a cash cow which pays up every year.
NFL is king in the US. Soccer is just above women's softball.
It's up to the individual, but I remember when I did karate I would probably get a slap round the face from my instructor if I ever tried to punch without shouting (I'm exaggerating, but you know what I mean)
Jamie Staff is already coaching the American team. Given how jealous the French are, I don't suppose it will be too long before they start poaching our other cycling coaches, if they can afford it that is.
I wonder when a Team GB loses a medal chance and goes back to TeamGB house do they get a talking down as a whole?

That's because both USA Team's have deep benches. We can afford to rest our starters, because our bench warmers are also starters! By the time the 3rd/4th quarter comes around, were still fresh and shooting while the other team is either tired or have their 2nd squad out so they can rest.
