Why are you guys saying RIP? He's not dead, they're going to blow up everything, they'll never crash and faraday will be okay. He's only temporarly dead.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

So now Jack
wants to erase the crash and we'll never get awesome Locke? FUCK YOU JACK.

This whole episode was basically shit we already guessed/knew.
I know, seriously. If Daniel's dead now too...seriously, what the fuck. That may have been the worst episode all season.

that's the main and only problem with this insanely awesome season! Is there barely trying to fool the super fans! We guess most of this shit 2 or 3 episodes before!

Thats what Im thinking. Whatever he does to try and stop the incident probably IS the incident. They cant stop themselves from getting to the island then non of this happens which means they wouldnt be able to stop themselves in the first place.

The world itself would collapse upon itself... in a sense.

Or after it happens they still on the island and next season is a bunch of flashbacks about the other ways in which they could have arrived there. :lol

There's no way they actually stop the crash. It makes absolutely no sense. Lindelcuse know this.

The characters dont.

Question is how does this work exactly? Faraday dies, but baby Faraday will/already exists. Since this is the past, he still grows up but since this is different now does he somehow go back and die again and continues an endless cycle of dieing or does this give space for a new Faraday?

Wow, I loved this episode. So good. Well worth the wait. Except,
why Faraday
?!? Why get rid of one of your best characters on the show? Hopefully the Island heals this too.

There's no way they succeed in making the plane never crash
right?...right?
, but I kind of hate the fact that they're even trying.

Yep, but that basically describes this entire season, but this especially was a wasted episode... bring em back.. put them down, and fill in worthless gaps in their life history.. WORTHLESS EPISODE

... my man.

I don't even have the willpower or desire anymore to bitch about how wishy-washy they are getting now with the time travel "rules".

That aside (which is a pretty major thing to overlook, since this season is built entirely around time travel), pretty good episode. Man though, I want to punch the dope out of Jeremy Davies.

How do you not show a charcter for so long, build up his return then kill him off the moment he comes back?

Why couldn't Kate have been the one? Faraday was really interesting and I enjoyed him more than half the people still alive.

They had Miles give bit of a dumb explanation a little while back.

Farraday in 1977 was the present of that adult Farraday because it hadn't happened for him yet. Same way there was always adult miles looking through the window at baby miles.

I checked my brain at the door after the season premier on most of this stuff.

Joking aside, that causes a giant paradox in that Eloise killed her son but if he never goes back, she doesn't yet she remembers killing him. The only way that works is the whole alternate universe theory
which is something Fringe has been "hinting" at
<---Fringe related spoiler from an already aired episode if you don't watch that.

100th episode anniversary sure was action packed!!

DAMN SHIT IS GOING DOWN. This really is the beginning of the end.... or the beginning of the beginning's end or... the beginning of the final beginning?

i dont know. damn hell sure i want to stick around and find out though!

I don't think they've been wishy washy at all. The characters arent sure of the rules. Lindelcuse are.

I'm fine with Farraday's death BTW. It's not a good death if the character doesn't matter.

Its surprising that Farraday is suggesting this plan. It just doesnt make sense. They can stop that crash... just doesnt work.

Whatever they do to try and stop it will be the incident. They created their own shitty fate. Its poetic in a way...

Or maybe they do...and while they don't fix things for themselves, they fix things for their younger versions?

Either that, or they loop forever.
