Aye, very dodgy 'crazy woman' acting from Claire, but as long as she keeps speaking with that awesome accent, I'll keep watching!

and also Jack found out his son plays piano so well.

Maybe the reason Kate chose Sawyer over Jack was she suspected he had a small pianist.

I'll get my coat
well, kate, the one currently on the island, has chose aaron over saywer and jack. he'd be a smaller pianist.

I won't be able to rewatch last week's episode on Tuesday anymore, so I'll be rewatching Lighthouse today or tomorrow...

I've already watched it twice. Holds up. I'm surprised how good the flashsideways is considering the kid was a) a knob at first and b) a stranger to us.

i've watched it twice as well and still think it's a really dull episode. the best part to me was the very end with Flocke as it brings the future clash ever closer.

kid's a male Shephard. He'll always bring the fucking noise.

I wonder what other radical changes they have in store in the X timeline.

In LA X, the changes were far more subtle, and same with What Kate Does (that is, pre-815).

Substitute upped the ante, and then Lighthouse's change came out of nowhere.

Sayid X's probably a civil rights lawyer now.

Sawyer's a cop, Juliet is a baby, Michael is a missing son, Eko is actually a fucking priest and Montand is a 3 arm freak.

Caesar is still The Constant and he is the boss of all bosses.

Those arabic letters? It says Jacob.

"Open image in new tab" works.

It's a picture of Jack's mom going through those files.

The letters look Arabic to me.

Shiiiiiiiit, Jack's mom's been in on it the whole time. Helping Jacob orchestrate shit. Christian stumbled upon the secret and resorted to binge drinking to deal with it.

Pics works now.

Is Jacob in Arabic.
I don't see it. Last letter before the B looks like an M.

I don't personally know arabic so it could be a wrong translation.

So what then?

In order of right to left:
First thing I can make out is an H (حـ‎ )
Second letter looks like a Sh/Th (ـشـ‎)
Third is hard looks like an M (ـمـ‎)
the last one looks like another M ( ـم )

Makes a total of Hasham/Hatham or Hashmem.
I'd go with Hasham and ignore the first M (lol) since that's a famous name.

A thought I found interesting in the AV Club review of Lighthouse:

-I’ve been thinking about this since last week, and here’s the brilliance of the whole “Candidate” concept, in my opinion: It helps resolve one of the major problems with considering Lost as one long narrative (as opposed to conventional episodic TV). When I re-watched the first few seasons a couple of years ago, I found that I disengaged from any episode that focuses on a character who’s since been killed. Now, with the introduction of the idea that all these characters have been enduring a series of tests—which they’ve sometimes failed—those earlier episodes open back up. Now we can take a second look at the lives of Boone, Shannon, Eko and the rest, through the prism of the Jacob/Smokey/Island dynamic. Why were they found wanting? What meaning did their lives have? I’m not saying that there won’t still be holes in the grand six-season Lost tapestry—some of them a function of the writers having to tread water back when they had no end date for the series—and I’m not saying that Darlton had Jacob and Smokey specifically in mind when they offed all these characters. But I am pretty sure that they had the Candidate idea in mind, which to me imbues the deaths with new meaning.

Also ties in with the idea that the flashbacks are being viewed from jacobs mirror pretty well

Man I can't wait till jin & sun meet up again.. the part in season 2 where Jin comes to Sun for help because he can't understand anyone is great too..

( what's going on in this thread, all of a sudden there's noone around? )
