I was introduced to this show from Comedy Central syndication. So damn good.
Yeah the show only has 8 seasons. These people are crazy.
One of the saddest moments in TV (for me at least) was of course
So good. It had plenty more serious/sad moments throughout all the comedy that were amazingly well done.
Also OP, apparently the way the hospital works in the show is one of the most accurate portrayals on TV about how an actual hospital works. Just a funny note to keep in mind. I'm not 100% sure of this but I read multiple people who worked at hospitals say this.

Dated a girl whose parents were both doctors. They said Scrubs is basically what residency was like, so there's two more sources on that accuracy pile

My sister works in a hospital. According to her Scrubs is basically real life for them, also Grey's Anatomy is painfully inaccurate. She also says most surgeons follow the stereotype.

Apparently at least one does, yes, but I'd just call that a coincidence.
He also plays the same character in Malcolm in the Middle, which has the same hospital Scrubs has, with Laverne working in both.

Woah woah woah? What? I've been meaning to catch up with Malcolm in the Middle. I only stopped due to life getting busy then and never had a chance to catch up.
Laverne appears very early, in Episode 3 I think. Ted comes late, season 6.

It's one thing to say it,
but another to not explain it.
I was OK with season 9. I just wanted more scrubs tbh. I liked the new gang and wish there'd have been more of them. Could have been a whole new show years later where we'd get continual cameos from the old cast, or they had smaller support roles.

I enjoyed it, but as a final season it was a poor send off. Also it was supposed to be called med school, but the network pulled for it to be a ninth season for syndication reason.
