Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Box Art & Artwork

I love how the artworks are styled like stop motion clay animation.

If only there was a WiiU version that looked exactly like this. Same with the Paper Mario Sticker Star artworks.

Is it just me, or does the texture applied to Luigi's model on the cover and artwork make him look kinda like he's made out of clay?

EDIT Meh, cant find a higher resolution were you can see the wallace and gromit clay texture in high quality

Totally, it's really evident in the one where luigi is running away from the ghosts. The clay style would be great for HD, and Luigi would overall be great for the Gamepad.

Still can't believe Nintendo actually made a sequel to Luigi's Mansion.

Can't wait.

The "Dark Moon" is the crystal that controls the ghosts, keeping them pacified. When it breaks, the ghosts go wild, and it's up to Luigi to catch them and piece the Dark Moon back together. That's where the subtitle comes from. (Someone asked, I think)

Like I mentioned in the other thread, a few Canadian retailers have the NA date set as March 10.

That'd be awesome since I could pick it up for my birthday :D

Not a huge fan of the box art, but this is a day one for me.

NOA covers are always posted online though some muck-up with CYMK vs RGB or whatever.

The box on the shelf will look just peachy. :)

Hopefully we'll get a proper shot quickly though.

It's still weirdly over saturated... Hmmm. I'm gonna be making a custom cover for sure. I will be posting that in the cover art thread later on if anyone else is interested.

Looks lovely. Saturation is a good thing in this context. I like it to have an overtly neon-ified, Halloween TV Special look. That's what Luigi's Mansion is all about.
