I would like to transfer files from my ibook to my PC.

I was told by someone that I could connect a ethernet cable to my ibook then connect that to the PC....then When i Start my ibook, hold "t" and it will automatically turn the ibook into just a harddrive that I could see on my PC.......but I cant see it on my PC?

how would I be able to make it so that I can see my ibook on my PC as a harddrive that i can grab files from with a ethernet cable?

(i dont wanna waste cd/dvd media by burning files to transfer)

lol, i did like 6 searches in google and kept coming up with shitty answers regarding firewire and using media...

guess i wasnt using the right word combinations.
