I think this game will be quite a looker with some reshading and disabling CA and that vaselin effect.
The game doesn't look bad per se, the style they're going for does, and I said this in the "no reviews before launch" thread, that not a lot of people are going to like this, which I had from German journalists who played the game on PC.
Cutscene models looks fantastic though.

What's the technical term for the Vaseline look? I hope they patch a way to turn that off or make it look better.
Downsampling looks like actual 1080p... like NMS

haven't seen anyone actually say that's possible so that's what I was going by
haven't seen any shots higher than 1080p with a UI that isn't smaller/not scaled correctly

That image quality is... unbearable. The downsampled image look a fair bit better so I think that is what I would do even if that means cutting down on other settings.
What on earth is going on with it. Is that a filter or something? If it is, can it be removed somehow? This reminds me of Quantum Break but somehow worse, more so with that CA in there. Yuk.

I posted one gameplay video from preview event and it was running at 60FPS. I don't know if it was rendered via video editor in 60 FPS.

I have never used a vpn to unlock a game early but with the hurricane looming I want to play before its too late lol. What are the consequences ?
That looks like upscaling in Quantum Break expect much worse.

Hoo boy, glad I dodged a bullet by not pre-ordering this one. I'm really interested by the game and setting, and that discount on GMG was tempting, but glad I second guessed it.

1080p looks more like 720p. Why is it so blurry? Chromatic aberration can't be the sole culprit for making the image quality this rubbish. Can you disable something to make it look normal?
